We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager with deep cybersecurity experience to help define how our products are positioned, communicated, and brought to market. This individual will translate complex product capabilities and cybersecurity concepts into clear, differentiated narratives that resonate with customers, prospects, partners, analysts, and sales teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong cybersecurity domain knowledge with expertise in product marketing, competitive intelligence, content development, and sales enablement. This person must be comfortable working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and the broader Marketing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Product Positioning and Messaging

  • Develop compelling positioning, messaging, and value propositions for our cybersecurity platform and solutions.
  • Translate technical features and capabilities into clear customer benefits and business outcomes.
  • Create marketing narratives tailored to security executives, security operations teams, technical practitioners, and business leaders.
  • Maintain consistency of product messaging across campaigns, presentations, web content, videos, events, and sales materials.
  • Partner with Product Management to understand the roadmap, customer use cases, product differentiation, and market opportunities.

Competitive and Market Intelligence

  • Monitor cybersecurity market trends, customer needs, emerging technologies, and changes in the competitive landscape.
  • Conduct detailed competitive analysis covering product capabilities, positioning, pricing, strengths, weaknesses, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and maintain competitive battlecards, comparison guides, objection-handling materials, and win/loss insights.
  • Equip Sales and other customer-facing teams to clearly articulate our competitive advantages.
  • Share actionable market intelligence with Product, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership.

Sales Enablement and Training

  • Develop and deliver product and cybersecurity training for sales representatives, sales engineers, channel partners, and customer-facing teams.
  • Build sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, solution briefs, talk tracks, FAQs, playbooks, battlecards, and customer presentations.
  • Ensure that sales teams have a strong understanding of the product, cybersecurity domain, target buyers, use cases, and competitive differentiation.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify knowledge gaps and develop ongoing enablement programs.
  • Support strategic customer meetings, field events, webinars, and partner training when needed.

Content and Storytelling

  • Develop high-impact content such as solution briefs, white papers, presentations, blogs, web copy, thought-leadership pieces, and customer-facing materials.
  • Create scripts, storyboards, and messaging for product videos, demonstrations, webinars, and multimedia campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative, digital, communications, and demand-generation teams to turn product narratives into engaging campaigns.
  • Work with customers and internal teams to develop case studies, testimonials, and proof points.

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Lead product launches and go-to-market programs in partnership with Product, Sales, Demand Generation, Communications, and Customer Success.
  • Define target audiences, buyer personas, use cases, launch plans, messaging, content requirements, and success metrics.
  • Support industry analysts, media briefings, events, conferences, and other market-facing activities.
  • Measure the effectiveness of product marketing and sales-enablement programs and recommend improvements.

Success in This Role

Success will be measured by the candidate’s ability to:

  • Create clear and differentiated product positioning.
  • Strengthen the sales team’s product and cybersecurity knowledge.
  • Improve competitive readiness and objection handling.
  • Produce compelling content and multimedia narratives.
  • Execute effective product launches and go-to-market programs.
  • Increase market awareness, sales confidence, and customer engagement.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience, including significant experience in cybersecurity or enterprise security technology.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity buyers, market dynamics, enterprise sales cycles, and security operations.
  • Knowledge of areas such as SIEM, threat detection and response, security analytics, XDR, NDR, endpoint security, cloud security, SOC operations, or related technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience developing product positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Proven ability to train and enable sales teams on complex technical products and cybersecurity concepts.
  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience developing video scripts, webinars, product demonstrations, and multimedia content.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both highly technical audiences and executive business stakeholders.
  • Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively with globally distributed Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing a cybersecurity platform rather than a single-point solution.
  • Previous experience supporting enterprise security sales and channel-partner organizations.
  • Familiarity with analyst relations and industry research organizations.
  • Experience conducting win/loss analysis and developing competitive sales strategies.
  • Understanding of security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and modern security architectures.
  • Experience working in a high-growth cybersecurity or SaaS organization.
