Akeyless is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Marketing & Content Marketing to lead two major initiatives for Akeyless Security. First is to lead the creation and orchestration of strategic campaign content and, second is to support high-impact marketing communications. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and amplifying the Akeyless story across the buyer’s journey—from awareness to conversion—while ensuring alignment with SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and broader go-to-market efforts.
This is a cross-functional, hands-on role for a skilled marketer who thrives at the intersection of product marketing, content marketing and communications. You’ll collaborate with product, demand generation, and executive stakeholders to develop high-quality content, manage industry conversations, and elevate our market visibility.
Responsibilities
Campaign Content Strategy & Development
- Plan, write, and produce a full spectrum of campaign content to support integrated programs across all stages of the funnel:
Top of Funnel: SEO and AEO-optimized blogs, social media posts, thought leadership articles, infographics, checklists, influencer videos, interactive quizzes
Mid Funnel: Webinars (live and on-demand), analyst reports, eBooks, industry surveys, customer testimonials
Bottom of Funnel: Technical white papers, ROI calculators, solution briefs, product comparison guides, case studies
- Collaborate with SEO and Content teams to optimize all content for discoverability across traditional search and AI-powered engines.
- Identify gaps in existing content libraries and initiate development of assets that support high-intent buyer needs.
- Ensure all content aligns with messaging frameworks, target personas, and vertical-specific campaign goals.
Influencer & Industry Collaboration
- Identify key industry influencers, independent analysts, bloggers, and subject-matter experts, and develop co-marketing or content partnerships that enhance campaign reach and credibility.
- Engage and manage these relationships to co-create or amplify campaign assets, including joint webinars, expert Q&As, or curated industry roundups.
Product Messaging & Positioning
Partner with other product marketing and product team members to
- Translate complex technical features into compelling positioning, messaging, and stories tailored to specific audiences and verticals.
- Develop and maintain product messaging frameworks and content toolkits for internal and external use (pitch decks, talk tracks, one-pagers, FAQs).
- Enable Sales and ensure their readiness to take Akeyless platform to market.
Support Marketing Communications
- Plan and execute analyst briefings & inquiries and briefings with clear purpose, messaging, and business objectives.
- Develop media pitches that map to timely product launches, customer stories, or industry trends.
- Write and edit press releases, product announcements, and thought leadership commentary.
- Develop and support social media communications using AI Tools and working with creative agencies.
Cross-Team Coordination
- Serve as the connective tissue across other members of the Product Marketing team, Demand Gen, Product, Communications, and Creative Teams.
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement to ensure campaign content flows into GTM toolkits and sales narratives.
- Monitor content performance and adjust strategy based on campaign outcomes, buyer engagement, and funnel progression.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 6–8+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, content marketing, with experience in working with communications teams (cybersecurity or Identity security SaaS preferred).
- Track record of producing high-quality, multi-format campaign content that maps to marketing objectives and buyer journeys.
- Experience working with analyst firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester) and preparing materials for MQ/Wave-style engagements.
- Excellent writing, messaging, and storytelling abilities.
- Familiarity with SEO/AEO best practices and content performance tools (e.g. Google Search Console, SEMrush, Clearscope).
- Understanding of Identity Security space and ability translate technical features into compelling end user or influencer narratives.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to navigate matrixed teams.
Base salary: $150K-$170K
In addition: Bonus + Company Stock Options + Benefits
