About Us

Cyvl is a Boston-based tech startup revolutionizing the way civil engineering firms and governments map and manage transportation infrastructure. Our enterprise-grade hardware and software solutions leverage 3D mapping sensors to capture LiDAR, imagery, and GPS data, retrofitted to our customers’ vehicles. This data is processed through our AI-powered cloud pipelines to generate actionable condition and geospatial reports, saving our customers time, money, and resources. We are in a phase of rapid growth, disrupting a massive and outdated market with our innovative solutions.

At Cyvl, our mission is to empower governments to build and maintain public infrastructure they’re proud of by accelerating decision-making through our sensors and Infrastructure Intelligence Platform. As our Senior Product Manager, you’ll lead product development across our hardware-enabled software platform and help define what comes next, shipping tools that get used daily by public works teams, engineering consultants, and civic leaders.

We’re a fast-moving, high-growth team that believes in solving real-world problems with authenticity, simplicity, and boldness. Every member of our team is empowered to take ownership, deliver results, and leave a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

About You

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead product development across our hardware-enabled software platform and help define what comes next. This is a highly cross-functional role with big impact: you’ll collaborate with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to prioritize the most urgent problems and deliver elegant, effective solutions, fast. You’ll partner directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand key jobs-to-be-done and translate them into smart, focused product decisions. If you’re motivated by shipping real products that help real communities, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the leadership team to understand the company’s vision and identify problems to solve that align with that vision

  • Rapidly prototype with Claude Code or similar tools to run discovery with towns and speed up the process from ideas to production code

  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to understand key jobs-to-be-done and translate them into smart, focused product decisions

  • Define and track clear success metrics tied to usage, retention, and business growth

  • Work closely with engineering and design to scope work, unblock decisions, and execute with urgency

  • Support GTM efforts by collaborating on launch strategy, pricing experiments, and product demos

  • Help shape the product culture at Cyvl; you’ll be an early and foundational member of the team

QualificationsRequired:
  • 4-7 years of experience in product management or related field in B2B software

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and ship impactful products

  • Strong product sense and customer empathy; you know how to turn vague problems into clear solutions

  • Comfortable digging into data, aligning stakeholders, and making fast, informed trade-offs

  • Technical fluency: you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should understand APIs, data models, and the basics of modern AI/ML workflows

Nice to Have:
  • Experience working on civic tech, infrastructure, GIS, or vertical SaaS

  • Exposure to public sector, urban systems, or field-data workflows

What We Offer
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k) with immediate vesting

  • Generous PTO, paid parental leave, and flexible work options

  • Annual professional development stipend

  • Team events, referral bonuses, and a collaborative, growth-focused culture
