Compensation & Benefits
Blue Onion is modernizing the CFO stack. We help finance teams automate reconciliation, understand their data at a transactional level, and close the books faster with a modern, AI-first platform.
About This Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who will lead end-to-end product strategy, roadmapping, and driven execution for some of our most impactful product offerings. You will bring innovation to the eCommerce accounting space through deep understanding of our users (CFOs and accountants) needs by building on top of our AI driven data platform. This role is highly cross-functional and foundational so you will partner with engineering, customer support, and GTM to iteratively and measurably build invaluable products and features for your users.
What You’ll Do
- Own the strategy and roadmap for critical product areas, from data normalization and reconciliation workflows to reporting and insights
- Drive execution with engineering by defining, scoping, and delivering high-impact work with urgency, clarity, and technical depth
- Deeply understand user needs through direct conversations, workflow mapping, and usage analytics to shape prioritization and design
- Craft compelling narratives with crisp product requirements, user stories, and documentation that align teams and accelerate decision-making
- Measure what matters, monitor adoption and outcomes, and iterate quickly to ensure we are driving real value for customers
- Balance short- and long-term bets, solving foundational problems while shipping iteratively to learn and deliver early value
- Think in systems, not isolated features, designing for extensibility, data integrity, and future scale
- Collaborate closely across teams including Engineering, Support, Sales, and Success to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience
- You have 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or data-heavy B2B platforms
- You have founder (or early stage startup) experience and have a proven track record of ruthless prioritization for the customer’s best interest
- You’ve owned a roadmap before and can back up your prioritization with a strong point of view
- You’re technical enough to talk APIs, data models, and systems design with engineers and always pushing for exceptional execution
- You’re comfortable in ambiguity and see it as a chance to carve out clarity
- You can toggle between strategy and detail without losing the thread
- You write and communicate clearly, concisely, and often
- Bonus: you’ve worked data infrastructure, or with accounting systems
We’re a startup with real traction, real revenue, and a strong point of view about where financial infrastructure is going. We’re still early, so you’ll have the chance to leave a lasting mark on our product, culture, and trajectory. You’ll work directly with the founders and build foundational things that actually matter.
- Base Salary of $150,000 – $175,000
- Remote-first team with flexible hours
- Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance
- Unlimited PTO, paid parental leave, and paid holidays
