Company Overview:

Maven AGI is an enterprise AI platform on a mission to unleash business artificial general intelligence (AGI), starting with customer service. Founded in July 2023 by executives from HubSpot, Google and Stripe, Maven builds conversational AI agents capable of delivering accurate, autonomous support that delights customers at scale.

Our platform unifies fragmented systems, integrates knowledge and personalization sources, and enables intelligent actions - all without costly system changes. We’re laying the foundation for a future where our technology handles complex tasks, allowing people to focus on what they do best: creative problem-solving, relationship building, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

We’ve started by reimagining the enterprise customer experience with a support use case. We believe that today’s support experience is broken: slow and painful for customers, and expensive and human capital intensive for companies.

We are building Maven to deliver better, cheaper support, for both end users and agents. With recent advancements in Generative AI, it is now possible to deliver delightful customer experiences at a fraction of today’s cost.

Team:

Maven has assembled a world-class team from Google, Meta, Amazon, and Stripe, and is supported by executives & Advisors from OpenAI, Google, HubSpot, and Stripe. You'll report (for now) directly to our CTO, Sami Shalabi.

The Role:

Maven is hiring Senior Product Managers to own critical product lines across our AI agent platform. You'll own a product vertical end-to-end, with a revenue target and direct accountability for business outcomes.

We're building AI agents for every communication modality at enterprise scale, and we need PMs who can take full ownership of these product lines:

  • Voice — Our fastest-growing modality and a technical beast in its own right. This role requires hands-on experience with telephony platforms and voice-based product development.

  • External Channels — Chat, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and every text-based channel where our agents interact with end customers. High complexity, high volume, and high impact.

  • Internal Use Cases — Copilots, Slack bots, and internal-facing AI agent applications that serve our customers' teams directly.

Each PM owns their product line's roadmap, partners with GTM to drive revenue, and operates with real autonomy. This is a builder role at a company that's already proven product-market fit with customers like TripAdvisor, Thumbtack, and Clio.

What You'll Do:
  • Own your product line end-to-end: roadmap, requirements, delivery, and P&L. You have a revenue target, not just a feature list.

  • Work directly with enterprise customers to extract requirements and translate them into clear, actionable PRDs and engineering specs.

  • Partner with GTM to drive adoption and revenue growth for your product area.

  • Collaborate with an elite engineering team to ship at speed in a fast-moving AI landscape.

  • Define and defend prioritization decisions across a multi-modal AI platform where every product line intersects.

  • Contribute to broader product strategy alongside Maven's CTO and platform leadership.

Who You Are:
  • 5-7+ years of product management experience, with a mix of consumer and enterprise strongly preferred.

  • You've shipped products at startups and scaled them at larger companies. You understand the difference between the two and can operate in both modes.

  • You can extract requirements from messy, ambiguous customer conversations and turn them into tight PRDs. This is non-negotiable.

  • You're a problem solver, not a project manager. You've been the person figuring out what to build and why, not just tracking whether it shipped on time.

  • You have real enthusiasm for AI, LLMs, and what's possible with autonomous agents. You follow the space because you're genuinely interested, not because it's trending.

  • Strong communication across audiences. You can hold your own with deeply technical engineering teams and translate complex product decisions for customer-facing stakeholders.

  • For the Voice PM specifically: domain expertise in telephony is required. The other two product lines are open to strong generalist PMs.

Location:

Boston (preferred), San Francisco, or New York.

Compensation:

Competitive total compensation including base salary of $175,000-220,000, bonus, comprehensive benefits, and equity in a well-funded, high-growth AI company.

Why Maven:
  • You own a P&L, not a feature backlog. Your product line has customers, revenue, and a roadmap you define.

  • Work alongside senior builders from Google, Meta, Amazon, and Stripe who've shipped products used by millions.

  • Maven has the strongest product on the market for complex enterprise AI use cases. Our conversion rate from first conversation to close speaks for itself.

  • A growing roster of enterprise brands that are betting on Maven for their AI agent strategy.

  • Maven's product isn't a proof of concept. We're building and deploying AI agents across every communication modality for real enterprise customers with real complexity.

Join us in changing the face of enterprise customer support!

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
