About The Role
In this role, you will build and launch features that directly improve the financial well-being of our users. You will have the opportunity to shape the product roadmap, make key decisions that drive impact, and bring your strategic thinking, creativity, and user-centric approach to life. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem-solver, and leader who can balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints. You'll be expected to dive into the details of product development, collaborate with diverse teams, and use data to inform and refine your approach. You'll work alongside a team that values innovation, collaboration, and delivering exceptional products for our users and enterprise partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end product development process, shaping a roadmap that aligns with user needs and business objectives, and driving initiatives across discovery, prioritization, development, and distribution.
  • Build a deep understanding of user requirements and market opportunities, developing user-centric products by partnering with internal teams to define and refine feature requirements.
  • Work closely with design, engineering, data science, and program management, co-creating and iterating on product features based on feedback from customer-facing teams and users.
  • Be hands-on with prototypes and data, using insights and storyboards to inform and enhance product requirements. Continuously monitor product usage to guide improvements that meet user expectations and business needs.
  • Align cross-functional teams and ensure smooth product development, effectively communicating progress, learnings, and plans across different levels and departments of the organization.
  • Ensure that all product launches meet the highest quality standards expected by enterprise partners, collaborating with customer success, sales, and enablement teams to drive product adoption.

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of product management experience, demonstrating a strong ability to lead products from ideation to delivery while balancing user needs, business goals, and technical capabilities--ideally at an early stage, venture backed technology company.
  • User-centered mindset with a passion for understanding and enhancing user experiences, and advocating for decisions that drive positive outcomes for our users.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data insights to make informed product decisions and translate findings into actionable improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly convey product vision, updates, and plans to internal teams and external partners.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects, and balancing competing priorities to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Display a proactive, results-oriented approach, with the ability to quickly prioritize and drive initiatives forward to achieve product and business objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance short-term wins with long-term product goals; aligning development with the company vision and user needs.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
