Since launching in 2019, CapIntel has been on a mission to provide magical financial moments for all: investors, wealth professionals, and our customers.

Our innovative proposal generation platform transforms how financial professionals compare, discuss, and present investment options, empowering clients to make informed decisions. We pride ourselves on revolutionizing an outdated process with a product that's adopted 4x more than previous solutions. One executive called CapIntel "the most intuitive platform I’ve used in almost 20 years in financial services.”

As one of Canada's fastest-growing wealthtech companies, CapIntel is expanding at an unprecedented pace. Our relentless commitment to innovation drives us to build a dynamic team, strengthening our ability to impact the wealth industry landscape in 2025 and beyond.

About the Role

CapIntel is transforming how financial professionals deliver advice and build trust with their clients. As a Senior Product Manager, you will own our brand-new, mission critical flagship product where advisors bring digital investment proposals and financial stories to life for their clients. You’ll identify the highest-leverage opportunities in the product funnel, test and optimize them, and partner cross-functionally to deliver experiences that help advisors win clients, deepen relationships, and ultimately grow CapIntel’s market impact.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the end-to-end investor experience at the presentation layer — lead strategy, design, and execution of how insights, proposals, and recommendations are delivered to investors, ensuring clarity, personalization, and a seamless advisor–client interaction.
  • Drive growth outcomes: Define and execute strategy to drive growth, adoption, engagement, and retention across our user base.
  • Map and optimize the funnel: Break down the end-to-end customer journey, surface key drop-offs or friction points, and run experiments to improve conversion at each stage.
  • Champion the customer and market: Use qualitative insights and quantitative data to understand user needs and client expectations, informing product decisions that strengthen product-market fit.
  • Conduct research and run growth experiments: Partner with design, engineering, and GTM teams to research and test new concepts and prototypes that will improve onboarding flows, engagement nudges, and workflow improvements — measuring impact and iterating quickly.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Marketing, CX, and Sales to craft go-to-market strategies, enablement, and post-launch iteration.
  • Measure what matters: Define clear success metrics, track performance, and report progress to leadership, always linking product work to business impact.
What We’re Looking For
  • Success scaling products: Proven track record owning adoption, engagement, and/or retention in a B2B2C environment or for a SaaS product that delivered experiences with high user engagement. Growth product experience is a plus.
  • Customer-obsessed and research-driven: Adept at surfacing customer insights and translating them into high-impact product decisions.
  • Metrics-minded operator: Comfortable running experiments, defining funnel KPIs, and making data-informed trade-offs.
  • Cross-functional leader: Skilled at aligning stakeholders across product, design, engineering, marketing, and sales, and influencing without direct authority.
  • Strategic and execution-focused: Able to zoom out on product strategy while also driving clear, actionable requirements for delivery teams.
Bonus Experience
  • Experience building investor-facing education tools and/or financial literacy and guidance applications.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar.
The Interview Process
  • Round 1: 30-minute video interview with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
  • Round 2: 30-minute video interview with the Director, Product Management
  • Round 3: 45-minute video interview with a member of the Design team
  • Round 4: 45-minute video interview with a member of the Engineering team
  • Round 5: 45-minute video interview with the VP, Product
  • Round 6: Take home case study followed by a 60-minute presentation to a panel of cross-functional stakeholders

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
