As a Senior Product Manager at Roo, you’ll lead a squad focused on driving impact across our labor marketplace, driving impact on both sides. You’ll own the strategy and execution of major product areas, working closely with engineering, design, analytics, and leadership to scale our business and deliver value to our users. This is a high-impact role where you’ll have the opportunity to work on zero-to-one problems, scale existing products, and shape the future of Roo’s product portfolio.
Your north-star metrics will directly tie to the “Roo Equation”, the equation that defines our business model, so you’ll always know you’re having an impact. You and your team will operate with significant autonomy as you take a growth-minded, iterative approach to learning, moving fast, and ultimately driving a measurable outcome by building levers for our customers and internal users.
This role reports directly to the VP of Product and while the role will operate on a remote basis, you may be required to occasionally be onsite in our San Francisco coworking space for meetings and team events.
Your Responsibilities- Unite your team behind a strategy to tackle your initiative goals.

- Ensure that the projects delivered are improvements to the user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, operations, support, marketing) to define and ship high-quality solutions.
- Use data and research to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and opportunities
- Proactively identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in funnel metrics and propose scalable solutions.
- Partner closely with the VP of Product to influence company-wide product strategy and culture.
- 6+ years of operating as a product manager. Ideally with 2+ years in a marketplace or B2B2C environment.

- Experience using data (quantitative and qualitative) to inform product decisions.
- Comfortable in ambiguity, with a bias toward action and a track record of shipping impactful features.
- Natural leadership. You know how to influence people to get things done across any job function. People love working with you.
- Ability to think big and small to build a portfolio of experiments and larger features. You are as comfortable whiteboarding a completely new experience as you are optimizing an existing flow and know when to do which.
- Prioritize UX. You think deeply about how the product fits into the life of the customer and can prototype solutions as a method of communicating your ideas for improvement.
- Bonus: Experience in labor marketplaces, healthcare tech, or scaling products at an early-stage startup.
