Position Summary

Are you passionate about our mission to empower patients to live their healthiest lives? Do you want to join a dynamic and innovative team that is making a difference in the healthcare industry? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Senior Product Manager position!

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the lifecycle of a product at Credo — from discovery and experimentation to build, rollout, and iteration. You’ll work closely with research, design, engineering, and data science to develop and deliver impactful products. As our team grows, you will also help shape product practices in collaboration with the SVP of Product & Interoperability.

We operate in a high-ambiguity, agile environment that is constantly evolving. To excel in this role, you will need to be able to operate autonomously, move quickly, and drive execution.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Be a champion of the lean product process - make ruthless, tactical prioritization decisions daily, with a bias towards releasing to users to validate and iterate
  • Work as a Balanced Team, with Design, Research, Engineering and Machine Learning, to accomplish company vision and KPIs
  • Drive product research and discovery in partnership with design - working closely with our customers, external and internal stakeholders
  • Identify and translate users’ needs into prioritized product specifications
  • Manage the backlog and iteration planning with the engineering team
  • Own the product roadmap and communicate progress with C-level, board members, and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with all departments (Customer Success, Support, Sales, Marketing) to measure, improve, and drive product-market fit.

Ideal Qualifications for this Position

  • 8 years of product management experience, ideally in healthcare or healthtech
  • Startup Expertise: You have been a founding member or a key early hire in a startup, ideally within a sub-20 person team, where you’ve built product functions from the ground up.
  • Proven Product Leader: A history of designing, launching, and scaling products that deliver tangible business results.
  • Hands-On Innovator: You’re not afraid to get in the trenches—prototype, iterate, and pivot quickly as needed.
  • Customer Focused: Deep experience in understanding and addressing customer pain points, translating insights into product excellence. Ideally, experience working directly with providers, clinics, or healthcare products.
  • Strategic Thinker: Skilled at balancing long-term vision with immediate execution, driving both incremental and breakthrough innovations.

Other Important Information about this Position

  • This position is primarily remote, with some presence in our Denver, Colorado office necessary at times.
  • This position requires some travel to visit current and potential customers
  • The ability to work productively and without interruption or distraction during Mountain Time business hours is essential.
  • Every position requires certain physical capabilities. Credo seeks to make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties when possible.
  • Equal employment opportunity is a fundamental principle at Credo. We are committed to a work environment in which relationships are characterized by dignity, courtesy, and respect. We are committed to nondiscrimination in all business operations.
  • Contract role, $70-80/hr, full-time (approx. 40 hrs/week), with an initial 3-month term.

This job description is not intended to describe in detail the multitude of tasks that may be assigned, but rather to provide a general overview of the expectations and responsibilities of this position. As the nature of business demands change, so may the functions of this position. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.  We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
