Role

At Octus, our Technical Product Management Team shapes the foundation and drives the creation of exceptional product experiences that deliver critical financial data and intelligence to our clients. We're seeking a talented Senior Product Manager to join our team and elevate our impact to the next level. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative features that enhance user experiences—both internal and external—while driving measurable business value.


Responsibilities:

As Senior Product Manager for Octus' Client Data product areas, you will:

  • Drive User-Centric Product Development: Design and help implement solutions for complex financial data challenges, prioritizing exceptional UI/UX experiences for our clients
  • Create Comprehensive Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed product requirements, specifications, and strategic documentation
  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, product strategy, engineering, and design teams, guiding products through their complete lifecycle
  • Optimize Product Performance: Partner with the Product Analytics Team to define and monitor key success metrics, identify growth opportunities, and drive data-informed iteration
  • Execute Project Management: Handle backlog refinement and maintenance while leading and participating in agile sprint ceremonies

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record 
  • Demonstrated leadership of complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into intuitive, user-friendly experiences
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels, from technical teams to executive stakeholders
  • Collaborative partnership experience with design, engineering, and QA teams in an agile development environment

Nice-to-Haves

  • 3+ years of fintech industry experience, with deep understanding of financial data, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Figma proficiency with demonstrated ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes ranging from low to high fidelity
  • Knowledge of credit markets and broader financial industry dynamics
  • SQL proficiency for independent data analysis
  • Familiarity with modern project management tools including Jira and Confluence

At Octus, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.

The base salary range estimate for this position is $150,000-$170,000. 

The actual compensation will be at Octus’ sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors.
