This role has a very heavy emphasis on being externally customer-facing so if you have a strong customer-facing background we would love to speak with you!

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience managing products through the full lifecycle, ideally within B2B SaaS analytics platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting externally facing products and collaborating directly with customers

It would be great if you also had . . .

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to translate complex technical or research concepts into compelling product narratives.
  • Experience in Agile development environments and working closely with technical teams.

What will you be doing in this role?

As Senior Product Manager, you’ll act as a strategic leader across the product lifecycle—from discovery to delivery to go-to-market—ensuring alignment between customer needs, business goals, and product capabilities.

Product Strategy & Definition

  • Partner with customers, internal teams, and external advisors to gather insights and shape a compelling product vision.
  • Lead ideation and define requirements, prototypes, user stories, and workflows, based on deep understanding of academic and research stakeholder needs.

  • Lead Development Partner and Early Adopter programs to test, validate, and refine product features.
  • Build deep relationships with research administrators and office leaders to champion their needs and feedback.

Go-to-Market & Enablement

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to define go-to-market strategy, segment priorities, product positioning, and pricing models.
  • Drive internal release readiness and sales enablement—developing launch collateral, messaging frameworks, and training content.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as a connector across UX, technology, marketing, and business teams to align execution with strategy.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap progress, and market performance to internal and external stakeholders.

About the Team
