Primary Purpose
We are seeking a data-driven and customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of our Search and Personalized Recommendations experiences across digital channels. This role is central to driving growth in our grocery retail business by increasing digital engagement among current customers and accelerating the acquisition of new digital customers.
As a leader on the Digital Product team, you will shape and execute a roadmap that enhances how customers discover and shop for products-using a balance of innovative machine learning solutions, robust A/B testing, and a stable, seamless user experience.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Chicago, and IL, Quincy, MA.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify valuable problems to solve and lead product discovery efforts for a team focused on search technology
- Leverage customer data and analytics to identify opportunities that drive customer engagement, retention, and digital growth.
- Partner with engineering, data science, design, marketing, and operations teams to build and continuously improve scalable and personalized discovery experiences.
- Drive a test-and-learn culture, using A/B testing and other methods to validate features and optimizations.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility while ensuring a stable and performant user experience.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including search conversion rate, product discovery efficiency, and digital acquisition metrics.
- Stay abreast of trends and advancements in search technology, personalization, and the competitive landscape within eCommerce and grocery retail.
- Serve as the voice of the customer and internal stakeholder champion, ensuring alignment across teams and driving execution through influence.
Qualifications
- Data-driven, customer focused leader with experience managing multiple stakeholder groups and strong communication skills
- Strong background with experimentation and A/B testing
- Experience partnering with Data Science and UX research teams to understand insights, make solution recommendations, and establish strategic vision for the search experience
- Experience shipping end-to-end products
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence leaders across different domains
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in grocery, retail, or high-SKU consumer marketplaces - eCommerce background ideal
- Preferred experience with AI and ML capabilities
- Experience leveraging technologies that power search capabilities
- Comfortable mentoring; experience managing individual contributors
- Familiarity with mobile-first product strategies and omnichannel customer experiences.
- Background in computer science, data science, or related technical field.
