About Us:

Blockworks is an information platform that sits at the center of the crypto industry. We transform raw, complex data and facts into actionable research, trusted alpha-driven insights, and world-class events. The result is transparency and confidence. Blockworks connects investors and businesses in onchain capital markets. We give businesses a platform to earn trust and provide investors with the information they need to underwrite the asset class.

Who You Are

You are a strong product leader who wants to keep building products directly while developing other Product Managers. You have managed PMs before and know how to set a high bar, give direct feedback, and help people become stronger product leaders.

You stay close to customers and love to build. You work closely with Design and Engineering to break big bets into small releases that teach us something, and you believe great products come from continuous development grounded in the product vision and customer feedback.

What You’ll Do

As our Senior Product Manager, you will own a meaningful area of our product portfolio while managing three Product Managers who lead other products across Blockworks. Your specific product ownership will be shaped by your experience and where you can have the greatest impact.

  • Develop Product Managers: Set clear expectations and give direct feedback to help PMs grow while maintaining real ownership over their products.

  • Develop Product Strategy: Turn customer needs, company objectives, and market opportunities into clear priorities. Make difficult tradeoffs and keep teams focused on the highest-value problems.

  • Understand Our Customers: Spend time with exchanges, institutional investors, enterprises, and crypto companies to develop deep customer intuition and identify problems worth solving.

  • Raise the Product Bar: Improve how we build products at Blockworks by strengthening our discovery, prioritization, and internal processes. Create a more consistent product operating rhythm that helps teams ship faster, make better decisions, and act on feedback.

  • Ship and Iterate: Break ambitious ideas into focused releases that allow teams to learn quickly. Study product usage and gather customer feedback to identify what is and is not working, then continuously improve what we build.

Experimentation is frequent at Blockworks. Comfort with being uncomfortable is a must.

What You’ve Done Before

You have 4+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years directly managing Product Managers. You have helped PMs become stronger, more independent product leaders.

You are also a strong product builder. You have owned a meaningful product area from discovery through launch and can point to the decisions you made and outcomes you produced. In the age of AI, you are comfortable building prototypes that communicate your ideas quickly, without creating a time sink.

You have built enterprise software for sophisticated customers, ideally products that combine complex data, content, and workflows. You are comfortable working with APIs, data models, integrations, and other technical product considerations.

You have helped improve how a product team operates, whether through better discovery, feedback loops, planning, prioritization, or product development processes.

It’d Be Great If You’ve Done This

You have experience building products for institutional investors, asset managers, exchanges, or other financial market participants. Experience building products that sit directly inside an investor or analyst workflow is especially relevant, especially those that help with asset discovery and underwriting.

You understand crypto markets and how the industry operates. Direct experience building crypto products for institutional or professional users will move you toward the top of our list.

You have experience launching new products from zero to one or commercializing enterprise products alongside Sales and Marketing. You are comfortable thinking about how products make money, including building pricing models and packaging products.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
