Additionally, customers have access to cutting edge AI functionality to modernize their requirements workflows and processes. Our rapidly growing customer base spans the automotive, medical device, life sciences, semiconductor, aerospace & defense, industrial manufacturing, consumer electronics, financial services, and insurance industries.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the product strategy and execution for a core area of Jama Connect, a market-leading platform used by organizations building complex, regulated products.

This role requires deep outbound product management expertise, senior-level builder expertise, and medical device industry expertise. We are looking for someone who can turn product intent into working artifacts and usable evidence, using AI-enabled tools and strong product judgment to rapidly validate ideas, reduce the gap between concept and learning, and shape better product decisions. This person must also bring a strong understanding of the needs, expectations, and constraints of medical device organizations.

This role is responsible for shaping product direction and driving execution: translating evolving business priorities, customer needs, and commercial inputs into shipped product outcomes that drive adoption and revenue growth. You will make independent decisions, continuously reprioritize, and drive alignment across Engineering, Design, and go-to-market teams with a high degree of autonomy in a fully remote setting.

You will apply strong go-to-market judgment, direct customer engagement, and sales-driven prioritization to shape product direction and execution.

What You'll Do:

Product Ownership & Roadmap Execution

  • Own end-to-end product ownership for a core area of Jama Connect, including both strategic direction and day-to-day delivery
  • Define and evolve the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, revenue opportunities, competitive positioning, and technical constraints
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to scope, iterate, and deliver high-impact solutions; translate ambiguous problems into clear direction, rapidly validate assumptions through prototypes, experiments, and other working artifacts, and make tradeoff decisions with minimal guidance
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and workflows to accelerate research, prototyping, experimentation, and decision-making

Commercial Strategy & Business Impact

  • Ensure the roadmap is optimized for revenue growth, customer expansion, and competitive differentiation; build compelling investment justifications quantifying market demand and business impact
  • Partner directly with go-to-market teams, Customer Success, and product leadership to identify deal blockers and expansion opportunities and drive sales effectiveness and market share growth
  • Participate selectively in late-stage deals to unblock adoption and capture evidence of what closes or saves deals

Customer Engagement & Market Insight

  • Engage directly with customers and prospects to validate direction, lead discovery conversations, and represent product credibly with users and executives alike
  • Use customer insights, prototypes, and experiments to test assumptions early and generate evidence that informs prioritization and roadmap adjustments
  • Synthesize field insights, win/loss data, and market signals into prioritization decisions and roadmap adjustments
What You'll Bring:
  • Demonstrated senior-level builder expertise, with a track record of turning product ideas into prototypes, experiments, workflows, or other working artifacts that validate assumptions and inform product decisions
  • Direct medical device industry expertise and experience serving organizations building complex, regulated products
  • 7+ years of product management experience
  • Demonstrated success as a Senior PM in B2B SaaS with direct enterprise customer engagement experience
  • Deep expertise in outbound product practices: win/loss analysis, competitive positioning, and sales-driven prioritization
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools and workflows to accelerate research, prototyping, experimentation, and decision-making
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and go-to-market teams
  • Strong customer-facing presence; ability to build trust with enterprise stakeholders and represent product credibly at the executive level
  • Proven ability to operate with autonomy and ambiguity, make decisions under incomplete information, and manage competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have:
  • Background in product marketing, sales operations, revenue operations, or business development
  • Experience with enterprise B2B platform business models and pricing strategy
  • MBA or advanced degree in business or related field
Perks and Benefits:
  • Virtual first and culturally diverse work environment spanning 8 countries.
  • Ambitious and fun work with a chance to define distinct, company-shaping tangible contributions.
  • Flexible time off and leave programs crafted to meet the needs for your rejuvenation and extra support to cope with life events with a quarterly $75 wellness reimbursement.
  • Comprehensive and affordable medical, dental and vision plans with pre-tax savings accounts and a generous 401(k) employer match.
  • 6+ weeks of paid parental leave to bond with your new family member.
  • Emphasis on learning and development at all levels with a subscription to LinkedIn Learning.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
