What you will do:
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-driven product initiatives in partnership with Product Design, Engineering, Data, and Growth Marketing
- Develop and launch AI-powered features in areas like intelligent recommendations, conversational AI, and content generation
- Collaborate with Product Design to craft intuitive, engaging user experiences that seamlessly integrate AI
- Partner with Data Science to productize AI/ML models using our stack (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Leverage LLMs, code generation, and emerging AI technologies to rapidly prototype and launch new capabilities
- Design experiments and interpret data to quantify the impact of AI products and drive iteration
- Influence key stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to align on AI priorities
- Evangelize AI best practices and contribute to thought leadership
- Champion responsible AI practices around transparency, fairness, privacy, and ethics
What success looks like:
- Regularly ships working prototypes and tools independently, not just directs others to build them
- Successful launch of AI-powered products that demonstrably improve engagement, revenue, and other key metrics
- Seamless integration of AI into core platform experiences
- Productive relationships with technical and non-technical partners
- Tangible contributions to Alignable's evolution into an AI-first organization
- Emerging thought leadership in AI product development for SMBs
What you will bring:
- A portfolio of things you have personally built. Prototypes, tools, demos, or shipped features you can show, not just describe, with at least one example from the last 90 days
- 5+ years of product management experience, with 2+ years building AI/ML-driven products preferred
- Hands-on experience leveraging LLMs, code generation, and productizing ML models
- Understanding of the evolving AI/ML landscape and its implications for product development
- Track record of launching successful 0-to-1 products
- Strong technical fluency and ability to partner effectively with AI/ML and Engineering teams
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with experiment-driven product development
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity
- Passion for helping small businesses succeed through technology
