POSITION SUMMARY:
Join LendingTree as a Senior Product Manager (SEO) and take a leading role in improving the online experience for customers arriving through organic search, while driving search ranking improvements and revenue growth. You will oversee the development and optimization of SEO-focused products and platform capabilities, ensuring they meet the needs of end-users, search engines, and content creators alike.
In this high-visibility, high-impact role, you’ll collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders across departments to define product strategy, lead hands-on discovery and delivery efforts, while continually navigating a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We’re seeking a seasoned Sr. Product Manager with a strong track record of driving impactful business outcomes, has exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a passion for solving user problems. SEO experience is a major plus!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the creation and continual advancement of SEO-focused consumer facing web experiences and supporting internal platform capabilities, ensuring their relevance and efficiency across multiple domains.
- Define, articulate, and execute product strategy and roadmaps informed by incorporating market trends, competitive insights, business objectives, and technological capabilities.
- Demonstrate a profound understanding of technical structures and systems, fostering cross-functional collaboration with UX/UI, technology, legal, compliance, sales, marketing, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of complex initiatives, from discovery and research to design, development, testing, and launch, ensuring measurable business impact.
- Lead collaborative efforts across SEO, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, and Legal teams to optimize content strategies and deliver innovative user experiences.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of product initiatives. Use data and analytics to make data-driven decisions and continuously identify and act on opportunities to improve product performance.
- Define, analyze, and document product requirements, effectively translating business goals Epics into detailed User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Actively participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Review, and Stand-ups, providing leadership as needed. Oversee and contribute to User Acceptance Testing processes.
- Establish and uphold product documentation standards and facilitate ongoing user training sessions for new releases.
- Stay informed of industry trends, technical advancements, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
Product Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required, with 5–7 years of product management experience, including leadership of consumer-facing web platforms.
- Demonstrated passion for the Fintech space, with a dedicated commitment to the industry, consumers, and leveraging data to build a robust business. Direct experience is highly desirable.
Product Strategy:
- A strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into action, champion innovations, and lead projects to successful outcomes within a large organizational structure.
- Proven ability to translate insights into action, develop roadmaps, and define and execute successful business strategies.
Product Leadership, communication, and collaboration:
- Strong communicator who is comfortable working in high visibility role, regularly interacting with and managing expectations of many stakeholders. Able to translate complex information for a non-technical audience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional ability to influence and build relationships across teams and levels in a matrixed environment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing complex initiatives in fast-paced and chaotic environments.
- Receptive listening skills, with the ability to present sophisticated ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.

SEO Expertise:
- Knowledge of SEO principles, site optimization tools strategies, and web analytics software (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics); direct experience is highly desirable.
- A commitment to becoming an authority on SEO practices, competitive landscapes, and strategies for improving site visibility and user engagement.
Technical & Analytical Skills:

- Understanding of common front-end development frameworks

- Data/reporting/analytics experience and skill is highly desirable
- Experience managing complex CMS platforms is highly desirable
Agile:
- In-depth knowledge of SCRUM and Agile principles, along with proficiency in OKR methodologies.

The base pay range for this position in Seattle/New York/Colorado/California is $135,000-$175,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on internal factors, job-related knowledge, and experience.
