The Senior Product Manager will manage third-party ecosystems, build product requirements, negotiate agreements, and support sales in telecom solutions.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who is experienced in dealing with third-party companies and possesses domain knowledge of the Telecom Ecosystem to build end-to-end solutions offerings. Telecom Access solution along with the core telecom products comprises Microwave, Networking equipment, Power, Antenna, Cabinets, and commodity hardware which are typically supplied by partners.
What you’ll do:
- Create third-party product requirements.
- Build Ecosystem partners portfolios based on product offerings, pricing, and geo-locations.
- Work closely with the pre-sales and end customers to understand requirements.
- Conduct and document a technical evaluation of each partner's offerings.
- Conduct IOT/Staging testing of third-party products to validate critical solutions.
- Support Sales and pre-sales team with solution offerings and cost budgeting during the Offer Development stage.
- Discuss available product offerings with the customer and provide various options that meet project and customer requirements.
- Fully responsible for the solution and design of the third-party recommended products.
- Support the Professional Services team during and after installation.
- Single point of contact for third-party eco-system partners; responsible for negotiating agreements and managing relationships during relevant customer engagements
- Work with the operations team to include approved solutions in the PW price list.
- Works with Procurement to source the right products with the required specifications.
- Handle multi-ethnic teams and multiple vendors.
What you must have:
- Minimum 10-12 years of Product Management experience with Telecom systems.
- Good understanding of microwave, Power, and Antenna solutions available in the market. Understanding of telecom site Civil works, and tower installations is a plus.
- Well-versed with Schedules, Scope, RAM, SLA, execution/deployment, Customer Acceptance, Cost, and Quality in Wireless telecom space.
- Thorough understanding of the Project Risk assessment and Mitigation in the wireless telecom industry.
- Thorough understanding of managing Partners / Vendors before, during, and after project execution.
- Thorough understanding of spare part management including warranties and RMA processes.
- Excellent Verbal and Communication Skills.
- Ability to Travel as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s (B.S) degree with 10-12 years of experience in the Telecommunication or Network Industry.
