About the Role:

As a Senior Product Manager, Membership Products, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding Remitly's offerings by building innovative credit products for both new and existing customers. You'll leverage your deep understanding of the lending landscape and customer needs to discover, design, and ship groundbreaking products that drive competitive advantage and fuel our customer growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Conceptualize and build new credit products: Identify market opportunities, conduct in-depth research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, analysts, designers) to design and launch impactful credit products.

  • Embrace complexity and navigate regulations: Work within the unique regulatory environment of the lending industry, ensuring compliance while delivering exceptional user experiences.

  • Master the art of customer empathy: Conduct user research, analyze data, and translate insights into product features that address pain points and delight customers.

  • Forge strong relationships: Build trust and collaboration with diverse stakeholders across various levels, functions, and departments to achieve shared goals.

  • Drive data-driven decisions: Leverage your expertise in interpreting and using data to inform product strategy, roadmap development, and prioritization.

  • Balance short-term and long-term impact: Collaborate with engineers to navigate technical trade-offs, optimize short-term outcomes, and consider long-term product sustainability.

What You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in consumer-facing lending products

  • Proven track record of building, launching, and iterating successful products.

  • Deep understanding of credit products, financial regulations, and the competitive landscape.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience utilizing data to inform product decisions.

  • A natural curiosity and passion for understanding complex systems and technical details.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to build trust and influence stakeholders across different levels and functions.

  • Commitment to customer empathy and user-centric product development.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $152,000-$190,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
