Senior Product Manager Growth (f/m/d)

Cologne (hybrid) or Berlin (remote) | Permanent Contract (Full-time)

to identify, validate, and scale opportunities that drive sustainable growth for our consumer business and create meaningful value for our consumers.

In this role, you will own important parts of our growth agenda end to end. You will uncover opportunities across the consumer journey, turn insights into hypotheses, rapidly test them, and scale the approaches that demonstrate impact.

This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of product, customer experience, data, technology, marketing, and commercial strategy. You will work with a dedicated product team as well as partners across the organization to turn growth opportunities into measurable outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Own growth outcomes, not just features. Define ambitious goals and translate them into a focused product and experimentation strategy with clear, measurable KPIs.

  • Identify growth opportunities. Use quantitative data, customer insights, market trends, and experimentation to uncover opportunities across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, conversion, and monetization.

  • Build and prioritize a growth roadmap. Decide where the biggest opportunities lie and balance quick experiments with larger strategic bets.

  • Experiment systematically. Develop hypotheses, design experiments, evaluate results, and use learnings to determine what to iterate, scale, or stop.

  • Turn successful experiments into scalable products. Go beyond optimization and ensure that validated ideas become sustainable capabilities and customer experiences.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Commercial teams to move from opportunity to execution while keeping teams aligned around outcomes.

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers. Combine behavioral data with qualitative research to understand customer needs, motivations, and friction points.

  • Make evidence-based decisions. Define success metrics, evaluate impact, and use data to distinguish signal from noise.

  • Think beyond the existing product. Proactively explore new propositions, business models, customer journeys, and product opportunities that could unlock additional growth.

  • Provide product leadership. Bring structure to ambiguous problems, communicate clearly with stakeholders, challenge established thinking, and help raise the bar for product management across the organization.

  • Several years of Product Management experience, ideally in Growth, Conversion, Retention, Engagement, or Monetization

  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business results

  • Strong experience with experimentation and analytics to make product decisions, including defining hypotheses, KPIs, and success criteria

  • Excellent product judgment and analytical thinking

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and turn ideas into action

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for finding new growth opportunities

What we offer you

  • Hybrid work: Combine flexible remote work with team time in the Cologne office (on-site days depending on your location)

  • Workation: Temporarily work from a destination of your choice within EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway

  • 28 vacation days

  • 2.5 additional days off at Christmas, New Year's Eve and Carnival

  • Buddy program (an experienced trustee is at your side)

  • Individual learning & development opportunities (internal & external trainings, e-learnings)

  • Events (Team Events, Unit Events, etc.)

  • Health Pass (free online and offline sports, fitness, and health courses)

  • Permanent contract with Europe's trusted brand

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
