Job Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for product vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for the Enterprise Imaging Diagnostic Suite portfolio, including diagnostic workflows, enterprise imaging capabilities, workflow orchestration, AI integration, cloud initiatives, and interoperability solutions. This role serves as the primary business owner for assigned products, with authority for roadmap governance, feature prioritization, release content decisions, and portfolio P&L outcomes, working with customers, clinicians, R&D, UX, regulatory, sales, marketing, implementation, and executive leadership.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  •  Own product vision, strategy, business case, and roadmap for the Enterprise Imaging Diagnostic Suite portfolio.

  • Serve as primary business owner for assigned products, including investment priorities, feature prioritization, scope decisions, and release content.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis; engage customers, radiologists, imaging leaders, and other clinical stakeholders to translate needs into product strategy and requirements.

  • Lead requirements definition, including business requirements, user stories, workflow specifications, and acceptance criteria, in partnership with engineering, architecture, UX, quality, and regulatory.

  • Prioritize development initiatives and backlog items based on customer value, strategic importance, business impact, technical feasibility, and regulatory considerations.

  • Manage products across the lifecycle from concept and commercialization through launch, adoption, enhancement, and retirement; define success metrics and monitor performance.

  • Develop pricing, packaging, positioning, and value proposition recommendations with commercial leadership.

  • Partner with product marketing, sales, and customer success on go-to-market strategy, messaging, enablement, and strategic customer engagements.

  • Present product strategy, roadmap updates, and business cases to executive leadership, customers, partners, and industry audiences.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, UX, marketing, sales, implementation, support, and customer success, escalating risks and decisions early.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, computer science, engineering, clinical sciences, informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (required).

  • 7+ years of experience in Healthcare IT, Enterprise Imaging, PACS, radiology informatics, or healthcare software (required).

  • 5+ years of product management experience with responsibility for product strategy, roadmap development, requirements definition, and product lifecycle management (required).

  • Experience owning commercial healthcare software products from concept through market release and ongoing enhancement (required).

  • Demonstrated experience working with engineering teams using Agile product development methods (required).

  • Experience presenting business strategy, roadmap direction, and product value propositions to executive stakeholders and customers (required).

  • Deep domain knowledge of Enterprise Imaging, PACS, RIS, diagnostic workflows, clinical interoperability, and healthcare informatics (required).

  • Working knowledge of DICOM, HL7, FHIR, cloud technologies, cybersecurity principles, and healthcare IT ecosystems (required).

  • Strong financial and business acumen, including business cases, ROI analysis, and investment recommendations (required).

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority (required).

  • Preferred: MBA, healthcare informatics, clinical informatics, or related advanced degree.

  • Preferred: Experience with enterprise healthcare providers, IDNs, academic medical centers, or imaging organizations.

  • Preferred: Experience with AI-enabled workflows, workflow orchestration, advanced visualization, voice recognition, or cloud-native enterprise healthcare platforms.

Travel

This position requires domestic and international travel up to 30%.
