Lead AI-native product development for enterprise lending: define AI evaluation criteria and quality bars, design end-to-end lending workflows, rapidly prototype with design agents, run customer discovery and onboarding improvements, and partner closely with engineering to deliver scalable, production-ready features.
Hey there, product trailblazer! We're EnFi, a cutting-edge FinTech startup revolutionizing complex credit risk assessment and portfolio monitoring with our AI-powered platform. We're on a mission to transform how institutional and private lenders make decisions, and we need your unique blend of product expertise, AI curiosity, and customer advocacy to help us scale from design partners to category-defining success!
Who We're Looking For:
A Senior Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of AI innovation, complex enterprise workflows, and exceptional customer outcomes. You're genuinely curious about how humans and AI work together, have strong product design instincts, and excel at defining quality bars for AI outputs. This is a hands-on IC role with significant ownership—you'll work across the product based on business needs, partner closely with engineering, and use our AI-powered design system to rapidly prototype and
validate concepts. As one of our foundational product hires, you'll help shape how AI- native products are built at EnFi.
The Role:
- Define What Good Looks Like: Create eval criteria, produce ground truth documents, and establish quality bars for AI outputs—ensuring our platform delivers consistently excellent results
- Design Complex Workflows: Map end-to-end user journeys for lending professionals (screening, underwriting, monitoring, closing) and identify where AI should enable vs. automate
- Build to Learn: Use discovery builds and our UltraFi design agents to prototype and validate product concepts rapidly—often getting to 80% in hours rather than weeks
- Work Directly with Customers: Join discovery calls, support onboarding, conduct user research. Understand how credit analysts and relationship managers actually work and what they need
- Scale Onboarding Excellence: Help productize our onboarding process so we can go from weeks of custom setup to days of guided self-service as we scale
- Partner with Engineering: Collaborate daily with engineers on feasibility, tradeoffs, and iteration. Be comfortable in technical conversations about AI architecture, model performance, and system design
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of product management experience shipping products for enterprise customers with complex workflows
- Startup growth DNA - you've been through the journey from early-stage ambiguity to scaling solutions
- AI/ML experience - demonstrated curiosity and hands-on experience using AI, particularly shipping AI/ML products or human-in-the-loop systems
- High say-do ratio - proven track record of consistently delivering on product commitments under pressure and navigating shifting priorities
- Strong product design instincts - comfortable owning UX decisions, creating wireframes, and working without a dedicated designer
- Excellent written and verbal communication - can explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences
- Based in Boston or NYC, willing to work hybrid
Bonus Points For:
- Background in fintech, lending, or financial services
- Credit experience or exposure (underwriting, portfolio management, loan operations)
- Formal design background or experience as a product designer
- Coursework or degree in business, accounting, or finance
What You'll Love:
- AI Innovation at the Frontier: Shape how humans and AI work together in complex financial workflows at the cutting edge of AI-native product development
- Direct Customer Impact: See your product decisions drive measurable business outcomes for leading financial institutions
- Startup Autonomy: Significant ownership and impact as an IC with no direct reports but the ability to shape our product direction
- Rapid Prototyping: Use our AI-powered design system to go from concept to working prototype in hours, not weeks
- Career Growth: Opportunity to grow into a product leader as we scale from design partners to market leader
- Competitive Package: Strong salary and equity package with high-growth potential
- Fast-Paced Impact: Your product decisions become reality quickly in our startup environment where priorities shift as we learn
If you're ready to shape the future of AI-native product development in FinTech and build products that transform how lenders work, we want to hear from you! At EnFi, you'll get to flex your product muscles while working at the frontier of AI and financial technology. Le's redefine what exceptional AI-powered products look like in the world of commercial credit!
We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and encourage candidates from all
backgrounds to apply.
