The Senior Product Manager will drive the development of data and analytics products, collaborating with teams to ensure impactful deliverables and enhancements, while managing requirements and guiding execution.
Heartbeat Health is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Data & Analytics team and help our team unlock the full value of our data. At Heartbeat, we’re at the crossroads of dozens of data streams that power our remote cardiology services for patients and organizations across the healthcare ecosystem. As we grow, your work will ensure our data and analytics deliverables: dashboards, pipelines, reports, and more, drive impact across clinical, operational, and business domains.
This is a high-visibility, hands-on role where you’ll help shape and execute our data product strategy, collaborating across teams to deliver outcomes iteratively and with agility.
What You’ll Do
- Champion Iterative Value: Work closely with data engineers and stakeholders to prioritize, scope, and deliver impactful data and analytics deliverables using agile, outcome-oriented methods.
- Lead Discovery: Regularly engage with a diverse group of stakeholders (internal and external) to surface, clarify, and prioritize their data needs.
- Craft Requirements: Translate business questions and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable requirements and well-defined deliverables (analytics, metrics, dashboards, pipelines).
- Drive Execution: Collaborate with data and engineering teams to develop, launch, and refine analytics deliverables in short, learn-and-adapt cycles.
- Deliver Results: Manage competing priorities, set expectations, communicate status, and iterate quickly based on feedback and evolving needs.
- Measure Impact: Devise, research, and define the metrics and formulae that help Heartbeat and its partners measure success - clinical, operational, financial, and beyond.
- Hands-On Contribution: Roll up your sleeves with SQL to shape dashboards, debug data pipelines, and ensure analytic quality.
- Monitor & Respond: Help monitor critical data pipelines, respond quickly to disruptions, and ensure data quality, reliability, and trust.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelors in a relevant field of study; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of experience in product management, analytics, or data-focused roles (healthcare experience a plus)
- Proven success shipping data products or analytics in a fast-moving, agile environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills - able to translate technical work for business users, and vice versa
- Strong (intermediate+) SQL and analytical skills; comfortable getting into the weeds
- Experience gathering requirements, writing problem statements, and creating testable acceptance criteria
- A passion for iteratively solving real-world problems, not just building features or finishing “projects”
- Experience with relational databases, data pipeline tools, and dashboarding platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Looker, Sigma, Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with Python (pandas) for data analysis
What Sets You Apart
- You care deeply about the “why” behind every analytics request—always aiming to deliver actionable value, not just data dumps.
- You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy collaborating across disciplines, functions, and levels of technical expertise.
- You believe product management is about continuous learning, experimentation, and measurable outcomes.
- You get energy from both “big picture” thinking and hands-on data work.
