Own the Data Activation product, including strategy, roadmap, packaging, pricing, partner integrations, API and architecture requirements, taxonomy, audience delivery workflows, monitoring, and launch measurement. Collaborate with leadership, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering to scale data distribution across DSPs, SSPs, walled gardens, CTV platforms, identity providers, and data platforms while driving revenue growth.

Most product roles in AdTech hand you a roadmap and ask you to ship it. This one asks you to help shape what gets built, and how it makes money, then go build it.

At Resonate, we help enterprise brands understand not just who their customers are, but why they behave the way they do. That intelligence is only worth something if it reaches the platforms where our clients buy media and make decisions, packaged in a way the market actually wants to buy. You'll own the product that carries our data into DSPs, SSPs, walled gardens, CTV platforms, identity providers, and data platforms, and you'll shape how that offering is structured, packaged, and positioned so it grows.

You'll partner with our group VP on direction, then own the roadmap end-to-end from there. Strategy one minute, backlog and sprint the next, and you should want both. If you know how data really gets bought and sold on the open marketplaces, including the unwritten rules of how platforms classify and value data vendors, and you want to turn that into a product you own, keep reading.

 What you'll be doing
  • Shaping how our data offering is structured, packaged, and priced so it competes well in market, across both custom audiences and our syndicated offering, then turning that into what actually gets built
  • Partnering with the group VP to shape the Data Activation roadmap, then owning it end-to-end: business cases, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and the sprint ceremonies in Jira
  • Productizing how we connect to partners like LiveRamp, The Trade Desk, and Blockgraph, defining the requirements, intake, and rollout playbook that make onboarding a new partner repeatable rather than a custom project every time
  • Bringing clear product and commercial requirements to next-gen API and target-state architecture decisions, alongside Engineering and Product leadership
  • Championing the taxonomy changes activation use cases need, and putting in place the workflows and monitoring that keep audience delivery reliable at scale
  • Serving as the product point of contact for Customer Success, Sales, and Solutions Engineering, giving them the positioning and proof points to grow and retain revenue, prioritized against the roadmap like any other product work
  • Instrumenting launches with real success criteria, then holding the roadmap against ad hoc commercial pressure with a clear point of view on the trade-offs
 What we're looking for

You'll need

  • A current, first-hand understanding of how syndicated data is bought and sold on the open marketplaces: the pricing, the packaging, and the platform-specific ways data vendors get classified and valued, plus a track record of turning that into how an offering is structured and positioned to grow revenue
  • Substantial product management experience in the digital advertising or data ecosystem, focused on audience creation, identity, and data distribution, with hands-on ownership. You run the backlog, write the specs, and ship, rather than only setting direction
  • Experience owning or driving partner integrations end-to-end, from scope through delivery
  • Deep working knowledge of the AdTech and MarTech landscape, from CDPs, DSPs and SSPs, and DMPs through to direct and programmatic workflows: media planning and buying, audience activation, taxonomy, and measurement
  • Working knowledge of identity resolution concepts such as HHID, UID2, MAID, HEM, and identity graphs, and how the major identity provider workflows function
  • Enough technical fluency to be a real partner to Engineering on architecture and integration decisions, and to reason about how data flows

Strong signals

  • Sell-side experience gained at a data provider, data marketplace, or platform
  • Experience with CTV, Retail Media Networks, or walled garden environments
  • Familiarity with clean rooms and data collaboration platforms
  • Comfort using AI tools to interrogate data and turn findings into product decisions. SQL and scripting are a bonus, not a requirement
 Who does well here

You have real opinions about how data should be packaged, delivered, and valued, and you back them with evidence rather than volume. You're as comfortable in a positioning conversation with a VP as you are in a sprint refinement session, and you don't treat one as the real job and the other as overhead. You're happiest when you can draw a line between a decision you made and a number that moved. You'd rather build the repeatable version than run the one-off again, you keep your work visible without anyone chasing you, and you're at home in a role where influence comes from the quality of your thinking rather than a reporting line. Nobody here is going to hand you the answer, and that's the appeal.

 Why Resonate
  • A product area that's central to how Resonate grows, and one you help shape rather than inherit
  • Direct partnership with senior leadership on both the direction and the build
  • A remote-first environment with genuine flexibility, and light travel for company and client events
  • The kind of place where good work is visible and compounds

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
