LastPass is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Commerce Platform

LastPass is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Commerce & FinTech Systems Team. We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to drive the platform strategy, roadmap and optimization of every purchase, upgrade and renewal flow—putting your customer journey hat on to make buying LastPass seamless for our omni-channel customer-base. You’ll make it easy for our Growth and Product teams to move faster, with accurate data, compliant execution, and global scale.

About the Team:

You will join the Business Technology (BT) org, reporting to the Director of Commerce & FinTech Systems.

The Commerce & FinTech Systems team is a key driver of LastPass’s global expansion, revenue operations, and customer monetization strategies. By partnering across Finance, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and Engineering, this team delivers scalable financial infrastructure and processes that support monetization and customer experiences.

If you are passionate about complex problem solving and motivated by scale, then this is the role for you!

Who will you work with?

You’ll partner daily with Growth Marketing, Product, Web/UX, Engineering, RevOps, Finance, Care, and Security—aligning platform readiness with offer strategy, pricing & packaging, and go-to-market plans. Remote-first culture with strong collaboration across US and EU time zones.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

  • Own the Commerce Platform roadmap: balance quick-wins work with strategic programs and long-term scalability.
  • Pricing & Packaging enablement: run intake → approvals → execution for catalog, rate plans, promos, proration, and billing terms; aligning cross-functional execution.
  • Catalog governance (Zuora): Partner with business stakeholders and Zuora Product Owners on SKU lifecycle/versioning, promotion strategies, affiliate programs.
  • Data & event contracts: define commerce/PLG telemetry across web, product, and services so KPIs (conversion, payment success, revenue) are trustworthy.
  • Cross-functional orchestration: run an intake process for requests, facilitate Pricing & Packaging committee, and uphold SLAs and change controls.
  • Clear comms & reporting: publish readiness, risk, and ARR impact; provide executive-level status with action-oriented insights.
  • Global market expansion enablement: deliver scalable commerce infrastructure to support international growth, including tax localization, currency support, and regional compliance.
  • Payment strategy optimization: lead initiatives to improve authorization rates, reduce payment failures, and expand support for global payment methods and gateways.

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Experience in Product Management / Product Ownership for monetization or commerce platforms in SaaS.
  • Hands-on expertise with Zuora billing (or similar), payment gateways (e.g. CyberSource), and payment optimization strategies.
  • Strong systems + data mindset: API-first design, event models, source-of-truth concepts; ability to validate flows with SQL/BI (Looker/Tableau/GA4).
  • Proven track record building governance and controls (approvals, audit, change management) without slowing delivery velocity.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across Finance, Legal, RevOps, Growth, Product, Engineering, and Security; crisp specs and executive storytelling.
  • Fluent in Agile (Jira/Confluence), backlog grooming, and writing testable user stories.
  • Proven ability to drive automation and process improvement within billing and revenue systems to support scalability and digital transformation.

It's great, but not required:

  • Experience with Sitecore/headless CMS, middleware orchestration, and config-as-code for business rules.
  • Cybersecurity/identity SaaS background; global payments/tax localization exposure.
  • Experimentation platforms and revenue analytics; CI/CD or policy-as-code for configs.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
