Job Description

Your Mission

We want to make moving money internationally instant, convenient, transparent and eventually free. 

For businesses, this means helping them to do business from anywhere and expand everywhere. To help them do this, we're building a world class business bank account, which allows them to get paid and pay people no matter where they are in the world, without getting ripped off by unfair exchange rates. 

We're taking our business account to the next stage of its growth, with a laser focus on solving problems for high growth SMBs. We need a strong Product Manager to join us on this journey. 

Here’s how you’ll be contributing to Wise

  • Time is money, and small businesses cannot waste theirs. The role of the business management team is to create a great experience for SMBs, making their experience with Wise seamless and efficient.  

  • You’ll be working closely with Designers, Researchers, Developers and Analysts and you’ll enable the team to make informed decisions and inspire the highest standards of execution.

  • You’ll report to the business account product lead, whose role is to help you find your own path to having a big impact on the Wise mission.

This role will give you the opportunity to

As a Senior Product Manager, you will drive the definition and execution of our Wise Business product strategy, focusing on the Account Management and Collaboration needs of global SMEs. You’ll report to the Account Payable Squad Lead. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Influence the Wise Business product vision and create a compelling vision of your own for your team and domain. You’ll have the freedom to make independent decisions to empower small global businesses and provide them with control over their global money movements.

  • Product Performance: Dive into data to identify opportunities, then monitor impact. Leverage data to tell compelling stories, convince, and inspire.

  • Discovery & Design: Prioritize delivering value to customers while ensuring an excellent user experience across web, iOS, and Android. You'll be responsible for making it simple and delightful for businesses to manage their account. They need to effectively utilize their Wise account with team members, delegating specific financial administration tasks to ensure safe and efficient operations.

  • Organization & Product Culture: Establish a culture of collaboration and accountability within your product team and across the organization. Inspire your own team, as well as other teams, to contribute to our mission.

  • Go-to-Market: Establish the go-to-market strategy with Marketing, Sales, and Account Managers. Train teams and equip them to sell the product.

Qualifications

  • You have experience in solving problems for small businesses, and come with a wealth of insights into how businesses manage their money. You've had experience speaking directly with business owners and finance teams, and can translate complex problems into simple and delightful solutions. At least 3 years in a B2B SaaS targeting SMEs.

  • Proven experience in building user management, user access/permission or workflow/approval features.

  • You know how to deliver a 0-1 launch, or a step change in an existing feature, and get your team and peers to buy into your vision

  • You have a track record of delivering excellent user experience on web, iOS and Android. You have a strong sense of UX and a strict attention to UI details.

  • You’re data-driven – You are able to dive into data to identify opportunities and then measure your impact. You prioritise the value you can add to customers, and can get the entire company behind you by telling stories with data.

  • You have a good technical understanding – help your team prioritise technological investments, tech debt reduction, bugs and new features.

  • Communicating clearly and logically – You are able to effectively frame problems to influence across the team. You are comfortable communicating with internal and external partners on challenging issues, whether in written format or at sprint planning with the team

  • You’re not afraid of being a true lead, helping your team with hiring, learning skills you don’t know today to unblock things everywhere needed. You don’t stick to a “by the book” product manager role definition. You get it done.

Additional Information

  • Base salary: £88,000 to 118,000 + RSUs
