The Institutional Buyside division is responsible for developing and marketing industry-leading tools for portfolio management, quantitative research, risk, performance & attribution, and execution management across the investment lifecycle. Our clients include the world’s largest asset managers, asset owners, and insurance companies.
The Middle Office Product Management team is responsible for our Portfolio Analytics, Risk, Performance, Fixed Income and Reporting products. This includes the product management, quantitative research and model validation functions who work in conjunction with sales, marketing, engineering, and client solutions to build and bring to market industry leading products. The product management team is responsible for implementing new products and enhancing existing ones. The mission of the department is to deliver & bring to market client-centric, world-class solutions that solve our clients' greatest challenges. The Front-End team is focused on driving new user growth and increasing stickiness & retention through superior user experience and cutting-edge solutions.
With this role, FactSet is pioneering the next generation of Portfolio Analytics with an innovative, workflow-centric platform designed to redefine how investment professionals engage and perform portfolio management functions. Building upon the industry-leading strength and proven analytical power of our flagship Portfolio Analytics applications, this future-focused product aims to deliver a modern, intuitive, and cohesive user experience. Emphasizing seamless user interactions, platform connectivity, and superior efficiency, the platform will empower users to tackle complex portfolio management tasks with greater ease and precision. As we strategically enhance our front-end capabilities to match our robust calculation engines, this new solution will set the standard for the future of Institutional Buyside tools.
This position will report to the Director of Product Management for the Front End of Analytics Hub, Portfolio Analysis, and SPAR.
Responsibilities:
Define, lead, and execute on the development of the next generation of FactSet’s analytics applications roadmap
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align stakeholders to achieve business outcomes. Establish and track KPIs & OKRs aligned to the strategic vision of the product & business line
Engage with diverse customer personas and client types to understand, critically evaluate, and facilitate the development of solutions to their evolving business needs
Passionately present the vision, value proposition, and development progress to business leadership, engineering, and client stakeholders
Build client-centric workflow solutions around the investment management portfolio lifecycle, starting from ideation through go-to-market and product launch to on-going user support and feedback
Operate in an Agile product development environment and define product requirements through story writing, acceptance criteria, and testing
Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, account teams and clients to solve user experience problems and design technically viable solutions
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, STEM, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
10+ years of product management or relevant experience in financial services, investment platforms, or fintech with a proven track record of successfully designing, launching, and managing a software product
Excellent leadership capabilities and the ability to build consensus and motivate teams around common goals
Deep understanding of client types - Asset Owners, OCIOs, Asset Management, and PE/VC workflows with knowledge of current trends in Buyside technology and operating models
A product-first mindset, with a solid focus on understanding client problems, defining clear goals, and experimenting to find the best solutions
Strong organizational, communication, and finance skills, and able to work in a team environment
High level of motivation, problem-solving, and a track record of sound decision making ability in an ambiguous environment
Ability to challenge the status-quo of decision making to improve the organizations' effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with portfolio analytics solutions and prior experience with FactSet’s Portfolio Analytics suite of products is a plus
Experience with Jira and other collaboration software is preferred
Job location: Boston, Connecticut, Chicago, New York and, San Francisco
Working Environment: Hybrid

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.
The budgeted amount range for this position in the States of Connecticut, California and in New York City is $120,000 -$150,000
