About the Role
As a Senior Product Designer focused on Growth, you’ll lead design across the user journey — from first impression to long-term engagement — driving outcomes like acquisition, activation, and retention. While growth will be your primary focus, you’ll also bring a full-stack mindset, contributing to strategic, cross-functional product work, navigating ambiguity, and delivering polished, creator-focused experiences alongside product, engineering, data, and research.
You will be part of a close and collaborative design and research team and own projects through definition, design, production, and delivery.
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to design product experiences for an inspiring creative customer, across a range of use cases, with an exceptional brand.
The day-to-day
- Lead end-to-end design for high-impact initiatives across the growth funnel — including onboarding, activation, subscription, engagement, and re-engagement moment
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, engineering, marketing, and data to shape strategy and drive measurable outcomes.
- Design with intent, using insights, experimentation, and user feedback to improve how people discover VSCO, start creating, and stay engaged.
- Advocate for creators, bringing empathy and systems thinking to solve real problems while aligning with business goals like conversion, retention, and expansion.
- Elevate craft and consistency, ensuring designs are polished, accessible, and aligned with our visual and interaction standards.
- Contribute to and evolve our design systems and growth-specific patterns, helping the team move faster with quality and intention.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience designing digital products, with at least 2+ years focused on growth, onboarding, or lifecycle design in a cross-functional team.
- Strong track record of designing product experiences that drive measurable business and user outcomes.
- Strong portfolio showcasing polished, thoughtful product experiences — from broad strategic work to detailed interface design.
- Experience working closely with data and experimentation — using both quantitative and qualitative insights to inform decisions.
- A clear point of view on growth design, and a toolkit of patterns, principles, and product thinking to support it.
- Strong interaction and visual design skills, with fluency in Figma, prototyping, and working within a design system.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you know how to influence, align, and lead through ambiguity in a remote environment
- You are adaptable and have a bias for action; while we aim for excellence, we also embrace iteration
- Experience designing for iOS apps as well as responsive web across desktop and mobile
