The OpportunityWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior/Staff Product Designer to lead user-centered design for our B2B enterprise software platform.
This role will be instrumental in crafting intuitive experiences for diverse users, balancing complex workflows across multiple form factors. The ideal candidate will help humanize AI-based innovations to enhance user experience while simplifying complex processes. Our users spend much of their day in our workspaces to help operate their business, and we’re committed to continuously reducing friction in their workflows.
While most of our team is based in California, our preference is to hire in San Francisco (our headquarters) or Toronto (home of our Head of Design) and we welcome applicants from across North America for this position.
ResponsibilitiesEnd-To-End Feature Design OwnershipAs a Senior Product Designer / Staff Product Designer with Parspec, you are empowered to shape the design of our product as it touches thousands of users. You will participate from inception of features through research and market validation, early high-level design and concepting, through detail design for development–while connecting with the customer and meeting quarterly design goals.
This highly collaborative and hands-on role gives you ownership to find the right balance of design effort needed to deliver market-shaping features.
Design Practice Leadership - Elevate the product design practice, mentor and guide product thinkers & designers while contributing to design frameworks that ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across all products.
Product Thinking - Build and share clear product thinking around features to a variety of stakeholders. Know how to build a point-of-view and know when to talk about user/market needs, market value, feature workflows and design. Have a knack for reducing complexity to the essentials.
Visual Intelligence - Showcase your product thinking through visual designs with the highest care for craft and visual hierarchy–either in words, presentations, or designs. Have a knack for isolating the signal from the noise.
Design Agility - Be able to rapidly switch design artifacts and fidelity to meet the needs of features through the process of delivery. Have a knack for building momentum without sacrificing speed or quality.
Manage, develop and contribute to a cohesive design system across our digital platforms (e.g., distributor portals, manufacturer sites) and form factors (desktop, mobile, and tablet) by creating and maintaining a comprehensive design patterns and UI component library using tools like Figma.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and launch features—such as enhanced search interfaces and intuitive data visualization tools—that drive higher user engagement. Advocate for accessibility, modern user interface / user experience (UI/UX) best practices, and emerging design trends in enterprise software.
Lead user research and usability testing initiatives to create detailed personas, map comprehensive user journeys and flows, and reduce cognitive load for improved efficiency ensuring a balance of power and simplicity.
Collaborate with sales and customer success to deliver timely, high-impact user-centric designs and prototypes that meet the needs of different user personas.
Collaborate with customers and our Customer Success team to define KPIs, monitor key metrics, and use insights to refine product features and drive adoption.
We're looking for candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have but are not mandatory.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in product design or UI/UX design, with a focus on enterprise productivity software (web/desktop/mobile) and complex workflows.
A portfolio showcasing innovative, product design, focused on web application designs that solve complex challenges and deliver intuitive user experiences for B2B Enterprise clients.
Proficiency in user-centered design methodologies, designing with systems, accessibility standards, and usability testing.
Mastery of Figma (i.e. design systems, auto-layout)
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
2+ years of leadership or mentorship experience, successfully leading & managing design teams in dynamic environments.
Expertise in designing for B2B applications, particularly in procurement, construction tech, or marketplace platforms.
Strong understanding of mobile-first design, web-applications, responsive frameworks, and AI-driven design innovations.
Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS) and modern design systems (e.g. React-based frameworks).
Experience with designing for diverse user groups, including digital-native younger users and experienced SMEs with varying tech proficiency.
