As a Senior Product Delivery Associate in Infrastructure Platforms team, dedicated to Merchant Services line of business, you utilize strong knowledge of Network, applications and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Product Delivery Manager to execute on key delivery tasks and identify ways to boost efficiencies
- Raises blockers and other impediments to the Product Delivery Manager to manage dependencies and ensure adequate resources
- Ensure compliance with PCI (Payment Card Industry) Security Standards.
- Protect data both in motion and at rest.
- Document and understand, VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding) concepts, Firewall and security partitions, Routing redistributions
- Collaborate directly with internal clients to build sustained and resilient network designs.
- Design, implement, and manage Data Center Networks infrastructure with a focus on Cisco Routing and Switching, including network switches and fabrics.
- Applies technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, with a focus on improving the data and systems running at scale and ensures end to end monitoring of applications.
- Executes conventional approaches to build or break down technical problems.
- Partners with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation statuses.
- Be accountable for making significant decisions for a project consisting of multiple technologies and applications.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Product delivery concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Hands on experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated performance in either product management or relevant domain area
- Experience executing operational management and change readiness activities
- Experience in product deployment processes
- Deep understanding of the TCP stack.
- Authoritative knowledge of:- Spanning Tree, Router VRFs, Encryption technologies in modern networks
- Strong grasp of routing protocols, including:- BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), General routing protocol concepts
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot VXLAN BGP EVPN fabrics for optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop network solutions aligned with business needs.
- Adhere to Jira methodology for project management, including task tracking and progress reporting.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Ansible knowledge is preferred.
- Familiarity with Packet Capture, Wan Technologies, Firewall Logging, Splunk, Network Automation.
