About Paxos

Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it.

We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like Mastercard, Visa, Robinhood, and PayPal.

  • Develop and maintain product legal frameworks and playbooks that enable scalable product development
  • Monitor regulatory developments in crypto, fintech, and financial services to identify impacts on product strategy and requirements
  • Present legal and regulatory considerations to internal stakeholders and external partners in clear, business-oriented terms
  • Engage with regulators and external counsel on novel legal issues related to digital assets and financial technology
  • Contribute to the development of industry standards and best practices for blockchain and digital asset products

About you

  • JD degree and membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar

  • Strong background in regulatory compliance for financial products and services
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to drive complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-lawyers
  • Proven track record of finding creative solutions to novel legal and regulatory challenges
