As the Sr. Process & Systems Marketing Operations Manager at Skillsoft, you’ll be the strategic architect of how marketing operates—connecting people, process, and technology to create a system that drives clarity, efficiency, and growth. You’ll oversee the marketing management system and its integration with the broader corporate management framework, ensuring that every workflow, tool, and data connection operates as part of a unified, intelligent ecosystem.
In this role, you’ll design and evolve the operating model that governs how marketing works—translating complex frameworks into scalable, efficient systems. You’ll drive alignment across teams and embed automation and AI into every workstream—fueling agility, precision, and impact throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, govern, and continuously evolve the marketing operating system that connects people, process, and technology across the organization.
- Translate complex business frameworks into scalable, efficient operational models that drive speed, precision, and accountability.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Commercial Operations, IT, Finance, Sales, and Product to ensure seamless data flow and process integration across systems.
- Identify and implement automation and AI (agentic) capabilities that accelerate execution and optimize investments—own marketing agentic roadmap.
- Drive governance, documentation, and continuous improvement to ensure systems remain efficient, compliant, and GTM teams are fully aligned to business goals.
- Champion user adoption, training, and engagement to ensure people are empowered to operate effectively within the system.
Skills & Qualification Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in marketing operations with a focus on process and technology
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field
- Proven experience in marketing operations, business systems, or process optimization—preferably in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong understanding of marketing technology stacks, system integration, and workflow design.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complexity, create scalable processes, and influence cross-functional teams.
- A mindset that blends strategic systems thinking with hands-on execution.
- Curiosity and confidence to explore new technologies—especially agentic AI and automation—to continuously elevate how marketing works.
- Experience in change management and guiding teams through transitions with clear communication and support to ensure successful adoption of new tools and processes.
- The ability to influence stakeholders across various levels and communicating complex technical concepts in an understandable and persuasive manner to non-technical audiences.
- The familiarity with and application of various continuous improvement methodologies, and the need to consistently seek opportunities to optimize processes that drive efficiency gains.
- Practical experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile or Waterfall), allowing you to effectively plan, execute, and deliver MarTech and process-related projects.
Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be approximately $130,000 - $150,000 annualized.
