About Us

BlackRock US Private Capital ("USPC") is the team within BlackRock Global Direct Lending focused on providing innovative capital solutions to US middle market companies through directly originated investments that generate attractive risk-adjusted returns. USPC currently manages approximately $23bn across multiple investment vehicles, including private funds, separately managed accounts and a BDC.

Position Overview

The Senior Private Credit Investment Professional will play a crucial role in managing and expanding our private credit portfolio. This individual will be responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and executing private credit investments, while maintaining strong relationships with borrowers and investors. The position requires a deep understanding of credit markets and a proven track record in private credit investing. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills and the ability to lead complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate potential private credit investment opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and financial analysis on investment targets.
  • Execute and manage private credit transactions from inception to closing.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of current investments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers, investors, and industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on investment strategies.
  • Prepare and present investment recommendations to the senior management team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in private credit or related investment field.
  • Proven track record of successful private credit investments.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of credit markets and investment strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.


 

For San Francisco, CA and Los Angeles, CA Only the salary range for this position is USD$245,000.00 - USD$320,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
