About the role:
Search is the primary way millions of customers find what they need at Redcare — and in a health context, getting it right is uniquely complex and impactful. In this role, you will own the end-to-end search experience, shaping how customers discover products, navigate uncertainty, and ultimately find the right solution for their needs.

You’ll operate at the intersection of product, UX, and data, driving a domain that combines technical depth with real customer impact. From improving relevance and discovery to redefining how search supports customers who don’t yet know what they’re looking for, this is a role with high visibility and meaningful ownership.

Job Description

About your tasks:

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end search experience – from query input and autocomplete to results pages, filters, and zero-results states across all platforms
  • Shape search relevance and ranking strategies, working closely with data science and ML teams to continuously improve how results are understood and delivered
  • Drive discovery and navigation, enabling customers to move seamlessly between browsing and searching, especially in complex health-related journeys
  • Define and refine the measurement framework for search, including advanced metrics like query reformulation rate, zero-results rate, and time to first relevant result
  • Build and prioritise a high-impact roadmap, balancing quick wins with long-term investments in search infrastructure, UX quality, and experimentation

Qualifications

About you:

  • You have strong ownership experience in search or discovery products, understanding both ranking logic and user experience layers
  • You bring a deeply data-driven mindset, with experience interpreting complex metrics and running meaningful experiments beyond surface-level KPIs
  • You are comfortable collaborating with data science and ML teams, and understand key concepts like ranking signals, query understanding, or semantic search
  • You care about creating intuitive user experiences, and have clear opinions on how search should behave across different devices and use cases
