What you'll do as a Senior Platform Engineer
- You'll design and build developer-focused tools and services that improve the software development lifecycle, including workflow automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery enhancements, and integrated development environment or tooling integrations.
- You'll implement AI-driven capabilities across engineering workflows, including code assistance, documentation generation, test automation, and code review support.
- You'll improve the developer experience by identifying friction points, streamlining workflows, and delivering scalable solutions that increase engineering productivity.
- You'll promote best practices for developer tooling, local development environments, and platform adoption through clear documentation, practical examples, and hands-on support.
- You'll design, deploy, and maintain the core AI platform infrastructure to enable the safe, efficient, and observable operation of production grade AI agents.
- You'll participate in design and architecture discussions, contribute thoughtful technical guidance, and help strengthen engineering standards across teams.
- You'll collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver reliable, maintainable systems that support long-term platform growth.
- You'll mentor other engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and collaborative problem-solving, helping elevate technical quality across the team.
What you'll bring
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
- At least 3 years of professional experience building backend systems with object-oriented languages such as C# or Java, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and backend architecture.
- Hands-on experience working with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, development frameworks, or internal engineering platforms.
- Experience applying artificial intelligence or automation to software engineering workflows, including areas such as code generation, summarization, testing, or knowledge discovery.
- Proven ability to mentor and support other engineers through thoughtful code reviews, design reviews, and collaborative debugging.
- Strong experience building, maintaining, and improving software systems, with exposure to developer tooling, platform engineering, or infrastructure that enhances engineering productivity.
