About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior People Operations Generalist to join Gradient AI’s People team. You will own the day to day operations that keep our people function running, from onboarding and compliance to engagement and reporting. This is a hands on role that requires someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working across a fast moving organization.Paragraph form
How you will make an impact:
HR Operations & Compliance
- Own onboarding and offboarding end to end, including HRIS administration, I9s, system changes, and exit interviews
- Ensure compliance across all states including EEOC reporting, anti-harassment training, and leave of absence management
- Support payroll administration in partnership with Finance
- Manage employee data changes including location updates, role changes, and visa inquiries
- Serve as the primary contact for benefits administration and partner with employees and vendors to resolve open items
People Programs & Engagement
- Manage engagement and pulse surveys including setup, tracking, and reporting
- Facilitate employee resource group meetings and recognition programs
- Support performance review cycles and new hire and manager meetings including content development and running trainings
Reporting & Systems
- Maintain accurate and up to date HR systems and materials
- Report out monthly and quarterly HR and recruiting metrics
Recruiting
- Support recruiting for open roles during busy periods
- Support employer branding initiatives
Skills needed to succeed:
- 5+ years of HR or People Operations experience, ideally at a startup or high growth company
- Multi-state compliance experience is required, including knowledge of benefits administration and managing leave of absences
- Strong experience managing employee engagement programs, including new hire and manager trainings
- Demonstrated ability to track, analyze, and report on HR metrics to identify trends, inform leadership decisions, and drive a data focused people strategy
- Experience with payroll and full-cycle recruiting is a plus
- Highly organized with a collaborative, people-first approach
