Join the power movement as Senior People Operations Business Partner
CFS is seeking a highly motivated and strategic People Operations Business Partner to join our growing People Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to our business unit leaders, aligning People Operations strategies with business goals and objectives. You will play a critical role in fostering a positive and high-performing culture, ensuring our workforce is effectively managed, developed, and engaged as we scale our operations.
What you'll do:
- Strategic Partnership:
- Collaborate closely with business unit leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and workforce needs, developing and implementing People Operations strategies that directly support and enhance business outcomes.
- Talent Management:
- Partner on all aspects of the talent lifecycle, including workforce planning, organizational design, talent assessment, performance management, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
- Employee Relations:
- Provide expert guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, investigations, and compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies.
- Culture & Engagement:
- Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture, working with leaders to drive employee engagement through initiatives such as feedback mechanisms, recognition programs, and pulse surveys.
- Change Management:
- Support organizational change initiatives, including restructures and growth, by managing the impact on team members and facilitating smooth transitions.
- Data & Analytics:
- Utilize people data and metrics to identify trends, inform strategies, and drive continuous improvement across People Operations programs and processes.
- Policy & Compliance:
- Ensure clear communication, understanding, and adherence to company policies and procedures, mitigating legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration:
- Formulate strong partnerships across the entire People Operations function (Talent Acquisition, HRIS, etc.) to deliver integrated and value-added services.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in an HR or strategic project management role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth, technology-driven, or manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
- Experience designing effective processes and managing projects
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think creatively about both short and long term solutions
- Change management expertise and the ability to guide leaders and employees through transitions
- History of improving leaders’ performance
- Strong coaching skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills

Must-have requirements:
- Perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
- Dedication to safety to mitigate industrial hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics
- Willingness to occasionally travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call
