Summary:
The Senior People Analytics Analyst plays a key role in enabling Delinea to make informed, data-driven decisions about our greatest asset—our people. This role transforms complex people data into meaningful insights that empower leaders. The analyst will develop scalable reporting solutions, design insightful dashboards, manage ad-hoc analytics requests, and uncover trends across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in data analysis and visualization with a talent for storytelling through data. They are passionate about driving organizational impact and continuously explore the potential of advanced analytics and AI to shape the future of work at Delinea.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and deliver advanced workforce analytics, dashboards, and reports using Power BI, Snowflake, and Workday.
Build predictive and prescriptive models to support talent acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies while uncovering trends and drivers behind key workforce metrics.
Deliver executive-ready presentations and workforce dashboards that tell a compelling data story.
Collaborate with leaders to identify analytical needs and develop KPIs that measure workforce effectiveness and organizational health.
Partner with HR, Finance, Sales, Product, and IT teams to ensure data integrity across systems (Workday, Snowflake, ATS, Salesforce, etc.).
Define and maintain data governance standards for people data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
Design and enhance Workday data model to feed analytics and data pipelines.
Manage the team’s analytics backlog, prioritize tasks, and oversee delivery to ensure timely and accurate execution of projects.
Automate recurring reports and analytical processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, HR Analytics, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in people analytics, HR reporting, or data analytics.
Strong proficiency in Power BI, including report design, DAX calculations, and creating actionable visualizations.
Hands on experience with Workday (advanced reporting, calculated fields, integrations, Discovery Boards, or People Analytics).
Experience with Snowflake (data modeling, SQL queries, and data integration).
Solid understanding of HR metrics and data structures (headcount, turnover, DEI, compensation).
Excellent data storytelling, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.
Understanding of data modeling and ETL pipelines to support efficient analytics workflows.
Must be proactive, able to work independently, and take the initiative to find and implement solutions for business requirements.
Highly collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a willingness to embrace new challenges and learn continuously.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to convey complex data concepts in simple terms.
Experience with predictive modeling and ML/AI-based solutions is a plus.
