As the Senior Partner Commercial L&D you will be at the forefront of driving sales team performance by designing, developing, and executing the commercial training strategy aimed at enhancing professional development and improving sales capabilities.

Your role will focus on creating scalable, data-driven training to address current and future skill gaps, support commercial competency development, and empower teams to achieve measurable business outcomes.

This position reports to the Director Commercial L&D, integral part of Talent Management in the HR organization. This position will be onsite.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute the associate functional Learning & Development lifecycle for commercial roles by implementing a scalable, competency-based development strategy, including Commercial Onboarding.

  • Assess the capability assets of our Commercial organization today and help design the future commercial capabilities with relevant, consistent and high impact solutions.

  • Align regional commercial training strategies with global standards to foster consistency, scalability, and optimal engagement.

  • Design and implement professional sales development programs that result in measurable skill progression and enhanced sales force effectiveness.

  • Establish a systematic rollout and facilitate Cytiva selling skills programs, such as DBS Value Selling 2.0, tailored to Cytiva’ s capability needs, ensuring consistent adoption and excellent execution of the selling principles.

  • Leverage inter-regional network of facilitators to ensure the systematic and high-quality implementation of the commercial capability strategy.

  • Integrate analytics and feedback mechanisms to improve satisfaction, foster continuous improvement, and ensure programs remain impactful.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • You have a strong sales background with experience in complex selling (instruments and consumables) and sales funnel management.

  • You have a comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within sales.

  • You can apply knowledge of key business drivers and factors that maximize performance.

  • You have effective communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • You have a passion for coaching and developing others, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • You are a CP or ACT in DBS Value Selling.

  • You have hands-on experience in collaborating with Commercial, Marketing, and product management to incorporate best practices and insights.

  • You have excellent project management skills.
