The Senior Onboarding & Compliance Specialist is responsible for onboarding new clients, channel partner marketers, and direct clients, while also supporting complex client setups and credentialing efforts for third-party vendors and channel partners. This role requires more critical thinking and leadership skills to mentor and support junior team members.

The Senior Onboarding & Compliance Specialist carries out basic and advanced functions to onboard new clients, including both marketers under channel partners as well as direct clients. The Sr. Specialist also assists with onboarding complex direct client set ups, credentialing third party vendors and credentialing channel partners. A Sr. Specialist must be ready to exercise leadership qualities in assisting junior members of the team.

 

Job Functions

  • Onboarding end users, including both direct (including adding branches to CCS programs) and indirect clients, with all three credit bureaus from Check With Me to final subcode, including sending and reviewing onboarding documents, conducting due diligence, processing SAN documents, Equifax commitments and both ITA and credit marts, and other tasks associated with onboarding. Basic understanding of contracts required by direct clients and what contracts allow access to data and applying this knowledge to onboarding direct clients.

  • Processing end users’ annual renewals, including reviewing mail pieces, telemarketing scripts and emails to consumers in accordance with the FCRA, and processing the required documents required to complete renewals.

  • Various basic and advanced tasks in EMS to service accounts as needed, including: giving and removing access to data in accordance with an established log in policy, entering pricing and working with other teams to get necessary approvals and fix errors, basic ability to troubleshoot ordering issues.

  • Determining the credentialing status of third party vendor and communicating with the credit bureaus in regard to vendors’ ability to receive data. Credentialing third party vendors throughout the entire process. 

  • Assisting Onboarding & Compliance Manager with higher-level functions, including: answering basic questions from junior members of team, updating process docs, auditing functions, and updating DocuSign templates.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and 3 years or HS/GED and 7 years of experience

  • Excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written, to confused or irritated internal and external clients.

  • Excellent written professional communication.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to identify mistakes and request assistance in making corrections.

  • Ability to follow complex processes and procedures accurately.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and 5 years or HS/GED and 9 years of experience•    

  • Advanced organizational skills and the ability to self-direct prioritization of tasks.

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
