Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support high-performance network infrastructure and services that enable reliable, lowlatency connectivity across trading, market data, and enterprise platforms.
- Partner with software engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to build scalable platforms, improve system reliability, and streamline operational workflows.
- Develop automation, tooling, and observability solutions to improve infrastructure management, deployment processes, monitoring, and incident response.
- Monitor and optimize network and system performance, proactively identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across network, systems, and application layers to minimize operational impact and improve service availability.
- Contribute to the design and operation of resilient infrastructure platforms, including capacity planning, lifecycle management, and technology modernization initiatives.
- Implement and maintain security controls and operational best practices to protect critical infrastructure and data.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending solutions that improve performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting large-scale networked infrastructure in financial services, technology, cloud, telecommunications, or other performance-sensitive environments.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, network protocols, and traffic engineering.
- Experience working with Linux-based systems and distributed infrastructure environments.
- Familiarity with automation and software development practices; experience with Python, Go, or similar languages is a plus.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, incident management, and reliability engineering practices.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across infrastructure, network, and application layers.
- Familiarity with cloud, hybrid infrastructure, or platform engineering concepts is beneficial.
- Exposure to market data systems, exchange connectivity, trading platforms, or financial services technology is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
