The Role
As a Senior Motion Designer at Fantasy, you will bring digital design skills to both automotive and consumer experiences. You‘ll possess elegant, modern design, and obsess over the finest details in design and function, creating next-level in-vehicle digital experiences. Launch digital products and services with world-leading organizations
You’ll work with the world’s most forward-thinking companies, including the likes of Netflix, Spotify, Ford, Asana, Tesla, The Academy of Motion Pictures, Dolby, Ancestry, Salesforce, and many others. You’ll work across diverse industries and across varying form factors, ranging from automotive, luxury, travel, operating systems, website ecosystems, design for voice, and artificial intelligence.

- You'll craft motion behaviors, systems, and animations that orient, guide, and add delight for customers.
- Produce motion studies for user flows, leadership presentations, and quickly iterate on multiple design solutions.
- Lead the definition and communication of motion design best practices across various features.
- Help shape the product vision by giving it life and tangible responsiveness.
- Look for opportunities to solve problems in unique and innovative ways.
- Help maintain visual and brand consistency between all products and outlets.
- Present design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback.
Experience / Key Personal Qualities
- A strong portfolio must have live examples of web UI interaction design and UI animation.
- 7+ years of design experience.
- 2+ years professional experience as a UI motion designer.
- Experience in a variety of design tools such as After Effects, Sketch, and other animation prototyping tools (Lottie, Flinto, Framer, ProtopPie, Proto.io, and Trapcode).
- Impeccable sense of timing and a deep understanding of motion curves.
- Experience working with or creating a motion design language.
- Experience working on a collaborative team and partnering directly with developers for design implementation.
- Ability to organize projects and project files efficiently.
- Knows how to give and receive constructive feedback, and how and when to defend design decisions.
- Experience with 3D tools is a plus.
