The client is seeking a driven and self-motivated Senior Mobile Engineer who is focused on building and delivering high-quality native app experiences (iOS/Android). You will work with a growing team to build a seamless user experience for their native app. Ideally, you have experience working with early stage startups and have worked with the React Native Framework.
Location: 100% Remote. Working hours are based on the between Central Time and Eastern Time US Time Zone.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to understand
requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, andmaintainhigh-quality mobile applications using React Native.
- Work closely with the rest of our engineering team to connect with our API
- Communicate effectively with the executive team internally, as well as apply a
consultative approach externally with clients and/or strategic partners
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding
standards.
- Leverage data to inform decisions and define metrics to measure the success of new
features
- Have a passion for coding and getting your hands dirty
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years
working specifically with React Native.
- Proficiency in React
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React Native framework.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux orMobX.
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a small, remote team
environment.
- Experience utilizing AI, i.e. Claude, and an eagerness to continue incorporating AI
- Willingness to start part-time and grow towards full-time hours
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related area.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Firebase, etc.).
- Familiarity with GraphQL and TypeScript.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a personal portfolio showcasing your work.
