About the Role
Perk is growing its Meetings & Events division and is seeking a Senior Meetings & Events (MICE) Specialist to lead and enhance our offerings for SMB and mid-size clients. This role combines commercial ownership with strategic influence, sitting at the intersection of our sales and account teams. You’ll have the chance to define how Perk Events delivers MICE solutions across a varied client portfolio. If you have experience managing multiple travel or event accounts and are looking for more autonomy and a broader strategic impact, this role could be an exciting next step.
What you’ll do
Work closely with the wider sales organisation at Perk to increase client awareness of our new MICE offering aiming to increase the volume of opportunities generated, especially with the Account Management teams.
The Senior MICE Specialist will be responsible for managing predominantly mid-scale projects and moderate-yielding opportunities, with a primary focus, but not limited to, supporting SMB and mid-size Perks accounts globally.
Put together RPF’s for a global portfolio of customers and manage the process from proposal through to negotiation and contract sign-off, including site inspections where appropriate.
Dealing with phone calls and email requests/queries from existing and potential new Perk customers in a timely manner;
Supporting sales conversations in conjunction with Sales Executives and Account Managers for discovery purposes and helping potential customers understand our services;
Proactively maintaining relationships with Perk customers at all times and uncovering future opportunities;
Problem-solving attitude anticipating customers needs and provide the appropriate customer service throughout the entire process;
Processing responses to clients within the companies agreed service level agreements;
To be aware of and act in accordance with all Company Quality Standard and Procedures;
To actively get involved in the process operated by the company and make suggestions on possible improvements;
To maximise on every opportunity, generating additional revenue streams across all regions to support achieving overall Perks revenue targets and drive profitability;
What We’re Looking For
1-3+ years events expertise: having worked in a structured M&E or MICE environment - ideally within a travel management company or corporate travel agency - you are highly comfortable handling complex, high-value programmes at scale.
A good knowledge of venue and event destinations across the globe and NAM;
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally across internal teams and client interactions.
Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.
Professional and courteous telephone manner, building strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Proven negotiation skills, confident in securing competitive rates and terms with suppliers.
Positive, adaptable, and collaborative, contributing effectively as a proactive team player.
Nice to haves:
Experience working with a MICE booking tool such as Cvent
Solid knowledge of event venues/hotels and destinations worldwide

Compensation:
Compensation for this role is a combination of salary and stock options. The anticipated base salary range is $64000 - $75,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on specific qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.

At Perk, we take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs.
