Senior MEAN Stack Developer (Remote - Global)
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior MEAN Stack Developer to join our team. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be able to align with our time zones and team collaboration needs.
Note: This is not a management role. We are looking for hands-on developers who deliver high-quality work and communicate effectively in proficient English with team members.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications.
- Architect, build, and maintain robust REST APIs with JSON responses.
- Create and optimize microservices with a focus on high availability and reliability.
- Analyze large problems, break them into smaller components, and deliver effective solutions.
- Perform code reviews, offering constructive feedback while adopting feedback from peers.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the codebase, internal processes, and project outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and proactively contribute to projects beyond your core expertise.
- 5+ years of recent hands-on experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, and Node.js).
- Deep understanding of JavaScript Core, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Proven expertise with cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, Docker and K8S.
- Strong knowledge of databases, cloud architecture, networking, and current security protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Git and continuous integration systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/XP methodologies.
- Great communication skills in English, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to learning new technologies and contributing across projects.
- Known for taking ownership, solving complex problems, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with financial data or services.
- Familiarity with Zapier integrations.
- Experience using tools like Jira and TestRail.
- Exposure to DevOps practices or workflows.
