Ansira is looking for a Senior Marketing Technology Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Salesforce, particularly Marketing Cloud, and familiarity with other Salesforce clouds like Data Cloud, Service Cloud, or PRM. We value adaptable technologists, so exposure to other marketing automation or customer engagement platforms such as Adobe, Zeta, Braze, Bloomreach, Responsys, and Eloqua is welcome but not required.
This is a client-facing, consultative role that blends marketing execution, strategic problem-solving, platform-level architecture, and people leadership. You will manage multiple resources, including offshore team members, work across time zones, and serve as a bridge between marketing strategy and technical execution.
While Salesforce is the core focus, you will work across other marketing automation and customer data platforms, designing and delivering integrated, data-driven marketing programs. You will help clients modernize their martech ecosystems, connect their data, and lead smarter, more scalable marketing programs. What You’ll Do
  • Architect, build, and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud solutions for enterprise clients.

  • Support integration and orchestration across Service Cloud, PRM, and other Salesforce clouds.

  • Manage multiple team members, including offshore resources, ensuring quality and on-time delivery across time zones.

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to design cross-platform marketing solutions that integrate data, campaigns, and customer experiences.

  • Guide integration efforts using MuleSoft or similar tools, connecting Salesforce with CDPs and other martech platforms.

  • Conduct platform assessments and create future-state roadmaps for marketing technology maturity.

  • Work across campaign operations and backend technical enablement including audience targeting, data modeling, segmentation, automation, and QA.

  • Present platform recommendations and solution designs to both technical and executive audiences.

What You’ll BringMust-Have
  • 7+ years in marketing technology with deep Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.

  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (ideal), plus Service Cloud and PRM.

  • Strong background in data modeling, integration, and marketing database architecture.

  • Hands-on proficiency with APIs (REST/SOAP), SQL, and identity resolution workflows.

  • Experience managing teams, including offshore delivery resources.

  • Client-facing experience translating marketing needs into platform execution.

  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.

Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with other leading platforms such as Adobe, Zeta, Braze, Bloomreach, Responsys, Eloqua.

  • Knowledge of MuleSoft or similar integration middleware.

  • Background in CDP strategy and activation in varied client martech environments.

  • Salesforce certifications (Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Admin, Consultant).

Why You’ll Love This Role
  • Impact – Work directly with top brands to shape their martech ecosystems and deliver measurable results.

  • Variety – Every project brings new challenges across platforms and integrations.

  • Leadership – Guide a global team while staying hands-on with the technology.

  • Growth – Deepen Salesforce expertise while expanding into other leading martech platforms.

  • Flexibility – Collaborate across global teams with a hybrid work model.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
