As a Senior Marketing Strategist , Membership & Experiential Activations, you’ll lead the marketing strategy for Hagerty Drivers Club and local experiential brand activations across the U.S. Responsibilities will also include providing marketing support for Hagerty Garage + Social, RADwood and assistance with the marketing of Hagerty signature events as needed. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide creative direction, oversee product campaigns, and ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Your strategic leadership will be instrumental in driving brand awareness, enhancing customer acquisition and retention, and achieving the highest level of ROI with marketing spend, strategic campaigns, and partnership efforts.

What you’ll do
- Partner with assigned business units to align on objectives and key results (OKRs), translating strategic goals into targeted, results-driven marketing campaigns.
- Direct the development, continuous optimization, and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive revenue for your responsible business units and achieve business objectives.
- Lead the ideation, planning, execution, refinement, and reporting of product campaigns—collaborating cross-functionally to ensure cohesive execution and drive measurable outcomes that maximize campaign performance.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, communications, and content to drive acquisition, retention, and engagement throughout the full Hagerty Drivers Club member lifecycle.
- Lead local Hagerty experiential marketing activations by working collaboratively with marketing partnerships, PR, creative and additional internal teams to on event coordination, promotion ordering, event promotion, onsite engagement and post-event analysis.
- Assist marketing team members with the marketing of Hagerty signature events as required.
- Align with internal stakeholders and oversee the production of valuable and engaging creative for the company's online, digital, and physical presence, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all channels.
- Present marketing strategies, campaign performance, and recommendations to executive leadership, demonstrating the impact of marketing efforts on revenue growth.
- Build strategic partnerships, engage with third-party partners, and lead marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness, expand marketing channels, and drive revenue growth.
- Stay up to date with current marketing techniques, online marketing trends, and best practices, driving innovation and maximizing revenue potential.
- Use product intuition and data to drive ongoing improvements, while championing an experiment-focused culture.
- Collaborate with insights and data analytics teams to develop ways to measure and optimize marketing performance and opportunities.
This might describe you
- Proven membership marketing and event activation experience, demonstrating a track record of successfully driving revenue and achieving business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (marketing, communications, or related field desired)
- Ability to travel 5-7 times per year, up to a week for each occurrence.
- Expert in developing marketing strategies from business unit objectives, designing campaigns and providing creative direction and oversight for marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all channels.
- Proficient with membership marketing strategies, experience developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to engage members with benefits, drive retention, and create emotional loyalty.
- Event planning and coordination experience for brand and/or direct to consumer products/activations.
- Proven experience in budget control and resource allocation, ensuring optimal ROI from marketing spend and efforts.
- Multi-channel marketing campaign background/knowledge with track record of leading campaign strategies across digital, media, organic social, email and local marketing opportunities.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at once, adhering to timelines and prioritizing projects based on the business unit’s needs.
- Analytically minded, with experience in product analysis, performance metrics, experimentation, and data storytelling.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience working across international cultures and countries with an understanding for local nuances.
- Keynote creation and presentation skills that are ahead of the curve.
- Proficient in project management across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding and utilization of performance-based marketing strategies and tactics, including the value of A/B testing, analytics, and SEO
- Ability to establish company-wide professional credibility and influence other leaders through effective business case development, involvement, communications etc.
- A high level of business acumen, professionalism and organizational skills
- Continual learning mindset, keeping up to date with the latest marketing techniques and best practices to drive innovation and revenue growth.

- This position can be worked as a remote position within the United States.
- Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
