Job Summary

Ready to shape how a mission-driven solar company reaches new markets and builds lasting community partnerships? As Senior Marketing & Partnerships Manager at Resonant Energy, you'll own the strategy, systems, and team that drive brand recognition and qualified leads across Massachusetts and beyond.

What You'll Do:

You'll develop and execute marketing strategy across earned media, digital channels, community outreach, and referral programs, while building the infrastructure that makes that activity trackable and repeatable. You'll lead market-entry research for new geographies, define KPIs, and build the playbooks that help your team convert outreach into pipeline. Alongside marketing, you'll develop and manage partnerships with mission-aligned organizations, negotiate partnership agreements, and represent Resonant at events and conferences. You'll directly manage a team of three, setting expectations, coaching for growth, and creating coordination systems that connect the Partnerships and MarCom team to the broader business development effort.

What Makes This Role Exciting:

This is a builder role at a company with real momentum and a great team. Resonant is expanding into new markets and needs the infrastructure—campaigns, partnerships, playbooks, metrics—to get there. You'll have meaningful ownership over how the company grows its brand and generates leads, with a direct line between the systems you build and the communities that benefit from expanded solar access. If you want to do strategic marketing work that is also genuinely mission-driven, this is it.

You'll Thrive If You:

  • Can hold both the strategic picture and the operational details, comfortable setting direction one moment and building a tracking system the next
  • Are energized by new market problems, where the playbook doesn't exist yet and you have to create it
  • Build trust easily with mission-driven organizations and can translate Resonant's value proposition into language that resonates with nonprofits, community institutions, and developers
  • Take ownership of team performance, not just your own, and find genuine satisfaction in developing the people you manage
  • Care about brand consistency and bring strong instincts for voice, message, and what makes content land

Your Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution (45%)

  • Develop and implement marketing strategy to drive lead generation across earned media, digital channels, community outreach, referrals, and returning clients
  • Build infrastructure for regular, targeted outreach and marketing—including cadence frameworks, content standards, and performance tracking—that enables the team to reach new clients and build brand in new and existing markets
  • Lead market-entry research and competitive analysis for new markets
  • Define marketing KPIs and build systems to track, analyze, and act on those metrics in support of team-level goals
  • Develop playbooks for follow-up and engagement across marketing touchpoints, including webinars, events, press releases, and ribbon cuttings

Brand Development & Communications (10%)

  • Create and manage written content distributed across the company's platforms, ensuring consistency of voice, message, and brand positioning
  • Evolve Resonant's messaging for new market expansion and maintain alignment across outreach channels

Partnership Development (25%)

  • Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with mission-aligned organizations in new and existing target markets to establish referral channels, co-marketing programs, and brand recognition
  • Build and negotiate partnership agreements that drive qualified lead generation
  • Represent Resonant at targeted events, conferences, and lead generation opportunities
  • Support the partnerships team in managing and growing the impact of existing programs and partnerships

People Management (20%)

  • Manage the Partnerships and MarCom team, including KPI-setting, developmental feedback, and performance management
  • Build team capacity to hit marketing and partnership goals through coaching, structured training, and clear expectations
  • Create coordination infrastructure that enables smooth collaboration across partnerships and business development teams
