As the Senior Marketing Operations Specialist at Jellyfish, you will play a crucial role in the Revenue Marketing team managing all aspects of campaign asset production, tool & process optimization, and data & reporting support. If you are a detail-orientated, analytical professional with a passion for collaborative, fast-paced environments, let’s talk!

Let's talk about what you'll do:

-Campaign Production: Manage the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns (email, landing pages, webinar builds, etc) including planning, scheduling, testing, and coordination of resources. Manage requests via our Asana sprint process and prioritize based on bandwidth, urgency, and impact.

-Inbound Process: Take full ownership of our Inbound lead models & flows, regularly updating and optimizing for highest impact.

-Data & Reporting: Proactively share campaign performance insights & recommendations with
stakeholders, while supporting wider team reporting needs.

-Platform Management: Partner with Senior MOPs Manager to maintain our MarTech stack,
including full ownership of Marketo, through regular updates and optimizations. Surface new tech recommendations, particularly around AI.

-Compliance: Ensure marketing practices comply with relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR, CAN-SPAM). Maintain MOPs documentation while surfacing opportunities to refine.

-Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to tooling, Inbound models, and/or reporting in partnership with Sr. MOPs Manager.

Let's talk about what you need to excel:

-3+ years of MOPs experience in B2B SaaS, ideally for post Series B companies.

-Technical expertise in Marketo and Salesforce. Prior experience with other marketing & sales
tools like Bizible, ZoomInfo, Asana, & LeanData is highly preferred.

-Strong problem solving skills with demonstrated success identifying and troubleshooting
challenges, making decisions, and driving solutions proactively, while knowing when to escalate complex problems.

-A quick learner who is highly collaborative & comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced
environment where priorities can shift.

-Strong attention to detail with an eye for optimization vs just maintaining the status quo.

-Highly curious of the evolving MOPs landscape, especially new AI capabilities

A list of job experiences and qualification requirements is great, but humility, a performance-driven attitude, and a team-player approach are most important to us. We love to have fun and win in the process. We only hire people who have a passion for building great companies in an environment where a sense of humor is a must.

Occasional travel may be required.

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Let’s talk about us!

This is all about you, but you want to know a little about us. Jellyfish was started in 2017 as a team of three with one big idea: engineering is the core of modern business, so let’s create and manage it that way!  With the help of our customers, we have built the first Engineering Management Platform, providing visibility into engineering organizations, their work, and how they operate. We enable leaders to align engineering decisions with business initiatives and deliver the right software efficiently and on time.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
