The Specialist will execute marketing initiatives, support content development, manage campaigns, collaborate with teams, and report on effectiveness.
The Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing marketing and communications initiatives that enhance the organization’s visibility, brand awareness, and lead nurture/generation efforts. This role involves content development, campaign creation, development of digital assets, event promotion, collaboration with internal teams, partners (for co-marketing) and vendors, and reporting on marketing materials & campaigns effectiveness (with digital marketing manager). Overall, this role will contribute to shaping strategic marketing communication planning and ensure cohesive and compelling messaging across channels at Alimentiv.
Responsibilities
- The role will require a combination of the following:
- Support the content development (creatives concepts, messaging and content) of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print channels.
- Project management of all marketing communications from development to measurement of success of all assets: interviews with key subject matter, editing, review, approval and archival.
- Collaborate with graphic designer to ensure alignment of visuals with messaging and brand standards for all campaigns, social medias and other assets needed.
- Work with different key stakeholders and business line to lead development, creative direction and execution of campaigns and marketing assets – as needed.
- Track the development of GTM marketing assets to support expansion commercial strategies.
- Write, edit, and proofread marketing copy for various formats including brochures, social media, blog posts, email campaigns, advertisements, videos, press releases and presentations.
- Develop concepts and storyboards for videos and interviews and recommend new digital assets.
- Develop a social media calendar and write all social media posts for LinkedIn, X and other social media channels. Recommend social media content strategy and assess impact with digital marketing manager.
- Maintain content and collaborate with internal stakeholders’ and business lines to create and update website content.
- Write copy for lead generation campaigns (marketing automation) and outreach campaigns with Inside Sales.
- Assist with lead generation initiatives in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager and Inside Sales to develop appropriate gated content.
- Ensure all digital content reflects current offerings, corporate messaging, and brand guidelines.
- Manage the optimization of content for SEO with digital marketing manager.
- Develop promotional content and advertising plans for all conferences and activities.
- Manage a calendar of promotional events: webinars, road shows, special events (open-houses, ATRC) and promotion.
- Liaise with external event organizers and vendors to develop impactful media promotion at events.
- Track campaign marketing expenses and maintain documentation for budget reporting.
- Manage content project management dashboards.
- Evaluate and recommend new vendors/agencies (content writing, graphic design, video, photos).
- Maintain with graphic designer an inventory of marketing materials/collateral.
- Build and maintain an organized spreadsheet/database of communications material archives and copy text.
- Route materials through different review processes and record approval.
- Note this role may require occasional travel to London or EU offices, occasional conference travel may also be required (~10% travel requirement)

Qualifications
- Essential:
- 4-6 years' minimum of related experience in a marketing/communications role, Certificate/diploma/Bachelor's in related field
- Strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and skilled at working with highly technical and scientific content
- B2B marketing experience required
- Global experience in a contract research organization (CRO), working with clinical trials content
- EST-time zone preferred due to nature of work
- Marketing automation experience (Hubspot, etc.)
- Social media fluency (paid and organic campaigns) - X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Project Management of campaigns - Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet, or related
- Demonstrated experience in dashboarding, metrics, and analytics
- Experience providing a consultative approach to stakeholders on messaging and method of delivery
