About the Opportunity

Summary

The ideal candidate must have experience managing metric-driven cross-channel advertising campaigns. He/she/they will be experienced in a wide range of marketing activities, including digital areas of social media, content marketing, website architecture, SEO, analytics, ad serving, and CMS development. He/she will have the ability to understand the big picture, while managing the day-to-day implementation of the established strategies. The candidate will have an understanding and passion for emerging digital technologies and how they apply to the overall vision.  The ideal candidate must be motivated by analytics and driving ROI. The Senior Marketing and Recruiting Specialist will also be a motivated, goal-oriented team player who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, where flexibility, creativity, and resourcefulness are required for success.

Day-to-day responsibilities include developing effective results-oriented marketing strategies, planning and executing campaigns, as well as analyzing and reporting campaign performance to optimize ROI.

This is a 1-year fixed term position with the possibility of renewal based on continuing external funding.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Marketing or related field (Bachelor’s degree considered) and 5+ years’ experience in marketing and communications. Higher education experience preferred.  Recruiting experience is a plus.

  • An effective mix of hands on experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive business results

  • Sound analytical skills; can monitor & manage integrated campaigns against established benchmark/KPIs

  • Worked in an internal marketing department (preferably in a position responsible for delivering ROI)

  • Managed cross-channel advertising campaigns from start to end successfully

  • The ability to manage multiple planned and unplanned projects simultaneously

  • Motivated by analytics and driving ROI for the Institute

  • Must be Impeccably organized and have strong project management skills - driven by a deep, intrinsic responsibility to meet deadlines and exceed expectations

  • Obsessive about the quality of your work, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • A great communicator – articulate, straightforward and engaging

  • Proficient in word press or similar application.

  • Proficient in Slate or similar application

  • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

(40%)

  • Manage the full lifecycle of digital programs – website optimization, email marketing, social media campaigns, SEO, etc.

  • Monitor against established benchmarks/KPIs of digital efforts, spearheading analytics reporting, analysis and communication of implications.

  • Manage cross-channel advertising campaigns, including print, and digital, to stay on strategy and within budget requirements.

  • Manage comprehensive content calendar across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

(30%)

  • Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials.

  • Develop, write and implement fresh content for Gordon Institute of Engineering Leadership website and all social media platforms. Must be a creative and effective writer.

  • Consistently refresh Gordon Institute website content and pages to attract our target demographic of applicants.

  • Create and deliver ongoing student and industry spotlights, executive bios and newsletter content aimed at increasing website traffic and lead generation.

(20%)

  • Aid the Director of Admissions and Marketing in planning near and long team conventional and digital marketing initiatives that align with broader strategic marking and recruiting efforts.

  • Analyze campaign results, draw conclusions and proactively make recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns

  • Collaborates with the Institute Director and Director of Admissions and Marketing on the development of lead generation and lead nurturing strategies for the Gordon Institute.

(10%)

  • Assists the Institute Director and Director of Marketing and Recruiting with development and management of the marketing budget for the Gordon Institute.

Expected Hiring Range:

$59,425.00 - $83,935.00

With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
